Apio Bevington was originally from Papua New Guinea but has lived in Camborne for most of his life
Tributes have been paid to a carer from Cornwall who has died suddenly at the age of 32. Apio Bevington, who was originally from Papua New Guinea, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 22 leaving family and friends in shock.
His friend Max Young, who attended Roskear Primary School in Camborne and Camborne Science & International Academy with Apio, has set up a GoFundMe page to help Apio's family pay for his funeral, which is expected to take place at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne.
Max, who now lives in Exeter, wrote on the fundraiser: "Apio had a heart of rare quality, I feel confident when I say that everyone who knew him could only say wonderful things about him. I was lucky enough to know him since a very young age at primary school and we have remained best friends ever since. This isn't unique though as many others reading this will also feel the same way.

"We feel truly devastated that someone so wonderful and unique could be taken away from us. Knowing the family well like so many, this is a truly horrific and unexpected situation for them. I want us to do everything that we can to make sure we can all help to give Apio's family the support and funding they need to give him the send-off he truly deserves."
The page has already exceeded its £3,000 goal and currently stands at over £3,700.
Max told CornwallLive: "There's a lot of history between Apio and me - I even lived at his house in my 20s. He was more like a brother than a friend. People gravitated to him because he had a very calm nature. We played football together when we were younger and he loved video games.
"Our group of friends are like a band of brothers and it never felt right if he wasn't there - we're all supporting each other now."
Apio's father Tony, who met his mother Piu in Papua New Guinea, said his son had worked as a carer since he was 19 and was popular with his clients in care homes in Cornwall.
"He was born in Papua New Guinea and lived all over when he was younger as I worked in Botswana and all around the world. Apio was an incredibly placid individual and was much loved. All the Papua New Guinea people in the South West have come to Camborne to console his mother."
As well as his parents, Apio leaves his sister Sarah, who also lives in Camborne. Donations towards his funeral can be made here.

Most of the big media calls us kooks for saying the Not-A-Vax is causing sudden deaths in younger people. OK. Why the near universal use of “died suddenly” and “died unexpectedly” in headlines and content? Why nearly no reports of follow ups with autopsy results and presumed cause of death? If they are so sure we are all nuts they should be putting us in our respective places with a lot of after deaths medical proof showing that. Yet almost nothing.
Maybe we need to start calling deaths like this “Covidcide” or maybe “Bidencide”.
Bidencide? You are okay with him stealing credit for Trump’s accomplishment, which he said was the greatest in human history?
So are any pakis or Africans or caribs in GB suddenly dying?

The gaslighting game those creeps are playing these days is so easy for them it’s like shooting fish in a barrel.
Anyone with the temerity to speak out and say the Emperor Has No Clothes is shouted down and condemned as naïve, mentally unstable, easily led and susceptible to manipulation. Most can’t stand being ostracized so they run away screaming, start embracing every established narrative they can find, and virtue signal like Natural Born Karen’s.

Hell, its was Biden who enacted mandates for everyone one, including all Armed Forces personnel, to not only get the first two shots but also the booster which have proven to be deadly to some folks.
True, he did, but he didn’t create it.
