“Ivey said Gigante was previously arrested for domestic violence and battery in 2005 and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault in 2012.
Gigante was also previously arrested on several counts of animal cruelty in 2008. Ivey told reporters that the murder suspect had killed a dog by slamming the animal’s head onto a table and breaking its neck and stabbed another dog.”
Gigante should have been put down a long time ago.
Was he an aspiring rapper?
More gun laws surely would have prevented this.
White dude with an Italian sounding name.
"He was a quiet man."
White dudes with Eyetalian names can be rappers. :)
RABID DOG - Put him down.
Make him Green Soylent.
I miss that show, my wife used to watch it every Saturday.
Red Flag laws are worthless, but I foolishly thought Florida had laws against ultra violent crime by serial offenders.
How about the Florida legislature look into why this feral beast was loose to murder 4 people? Did the law work the way they intended? If so, God help us. If not, nail those who subverted the intent of the law to protect the public.
Require judges, probation boards, etc. to keep dangerous criminals locked up or face charges and civil responsiblity themselves for everything the bastards do after unwise release. If the law requires that the scum be released to prey on the public, fix the damn laws.
I haven’t watched that one in a long while.
He was a gentle gigante.
“Moreover, under the Florida 10-20-Life law, mandatory minimum sentences must be imposed when a firearm is possessed or discharged. The mandatory minimum sentence if a firearm is simply possessed during an aggravated battery is 10 years.”

Why wasn’t he in prison? Not convicted yet? Already served the 10 years? Did a judge ignore the sentencing law?
Surly this post must be sarcasm
In today’s US the dogs killed were probably the aggressors and his family were to blame for his actions because they might have used the wrong pronoun when talking to him.
“Red Flag laws are worthless”
No argument here about that.
Had he just ‘matriculated’ at the local Community College?
Was he just ‘turning his life around’?
