A Muslim progressive activist who has allegedly been lying for years about her ethnic identify, claiming to be a woman of color, has resigned from her position as senior inclusion officer of a Philadelphia-based social justice group.
“Raquel Saraswati, who is facing public allegations that she misrepresented her background and past associations, has informed us of her intention to separate from the organization,” American Friends Service Committee rep Layne Mullett told USA Today.
Saraswati, 39, who was born Rachel Elizabeth Seidel, was the chief equity, inclusion and culture officer of the Philadelphia-based, progressive Quaker group that fights “violence, inequality and oppression.”
“I call her Rachel. I don’t know why she’s doing what she’s doing,” Perone said. “I’m as white as the driven snow and so is she.”

Unless you want to "self-identify" as a member of the opposite sex.
Really: You aren't allowed to "self-identify as "Latino," even if you have an olive-colored complexion, black hair, dark-brown eyes, etc. and your ancestors came from, say, southern France. Even though modern DNA tests might not be able to distinguish the two.
But claim that you are a woman, even though you have an XY instead of XX chromosome pair, and it has to be accepted, or you are a transphobe and in danger of being cancelled!

Mental illness is disturbing to the sane. And it doesn’t need an excuse to explain itself, its cause is inherent. However, it often finds its ‘color’ from the families, cultures, philosophies, and politics the person grows up with.
A psychopath is born that way, a sociopath is trained to be that way. The only difference is that if a sociopath is caught before mental maturity, they can be retrained away from sociopathy. A psychopath may learn to mimic normality, but they will remain a psychopath.
It does not speak too well of these groups’ self esteem that apparently a lot of them are led by white people who claim to be something else. Maybe some of the stereotype canards are not so silly.
