The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
From The Arkansas Gazette, a meaningless quote from an even more meaningless, self-absorbed, over rated loser of a role model for any age group, IMHO.

Inner strength is what you need.
That reaction would be hard to improve on.
“If you want a friend in Washington, buy a dog.” - Apocryphally attributed to Harry S. Truman, who did not have one, and put a cocker spaniel pup given to him as president in care of his physician.
What's not to love?

Yes. The word the author used, i.e. the first word, makes no sense until you realize who wrote it, then you understand. So, does that mean you seek revenge and take it out on others by hurting and demoralizing them? The quote encapsulates the inner nature of this person. Non-Christian, anti-American, Pro-abortion left wing nut job etc.
You often think that famous people give quotes that are not theirs, but crafted by others, eg just about every Maya Angelou or Ophra quote is crafted by an army of their collaborators. This quote no doubt was straight out of the mouth.
Sorry for posting it, but it was the Arkansas Gazette’s CG for the day.
A puzzle within the puzzle.
I can’t open these on my I-Mac. Do I need to change a setting?
I honestly don’t know.
ComputerGuy,
I don’t know much about the iMac, but I am guessing that you might need to get the YouTube App for your device.
Finally.....
A puzzle is a puzzle. Thanks for doing this.
You are so right about the author’s use for the 1st word. And I think it is a good thing to see what she said to contrast that with the truth.
On Valentine’s Day we had a luncheon for the women in our church, where we discussed the meaning of LOVE. And at the end, I had the great pleasure of playing and singing along with the little group I’m teaching to play the Mountain Dulcimer, the Worship song “How Deep The Father’s Love For Us” which sums up all we know about Love…… loving our husbands, children, family and friends the way the Father teaches us.
I don’t have a recording of us playing it, but here is a beautiful rendition if you want to listen. https://youtu.be/z65YxhqY0_E
A bizarre quote from a bizarre person.
deeply shallow quote
