Ryan Graves, author of this article, was the first active-duty Navy pilot to go public with a UFO sighting.
Whatever these things are, they are real. Perhaps it is time to shoot one down and see what it is and who it came from.
Maybe he wasn't read into the program. Or maybe he was and is pushing disinformation a la the Bennewitz fiasco.
I do not trust anybody who declares with certainty what the small percentage of credible UFO sightings are or are not. It's an unfortunate state of affairs, alas.
I guess the sidewinders might have obliterated the evidence, but why would the military do that? And why didn't the military use a drone (the RQ-4 Global Hawk has a 60,000+/- ft max altitude)? A drone could have relayed some clear photos back to base.
I have no doubt that at least some of these sightings are actual alien UFO’s. What right do our arrogant leaders have to keep us in the dark about this? People have a right to know about this sort of thing, what do they think we are all a bunch of children who will freak out? What sort of government are we living under where they feel entitled to lie to us about many important things?
Scott Bray and Ronald Moultrie were pretty dismissive of the entire subject when testifying before Congress. They didn’t budge an inch.
Still makes no sense to me. Why would they sit on this phenomenon for 50+ years and then suddenly change?
Something is odd about all this. I don’t trust it. At all.
Yeah, nobody running an intelligence agency can be counted on to tell the truth. Not even to their “overseers” in Congress. Perhaps especially not to them.

I don’t think he ever saw one himself; a couple in his squadron did.
1. A natural phenomenon or equipment glitches 2. A man made device; or 3. Something else
I have no reason to believe they are aliens from space. At this point science and reason don’t support it.
Scuttlebutt is that the Roswell incident was caused by a burst of high energy radar on the UFO, intentional or otherwise, that brought it down.
There were two UFO’s that came down, one in anther area.

That sounds like it.
UAP or UFOs don’t have to be “aliens” to be weird.
Explanations that are under serious consideration:
1. Time travelers - these are devices or occupied vehicles from our own future doing research. The most accepted theory of time travel right now posits that traveling to the past creates a new timeline so traveling to the past cannot create a paradox that keeps you from ever existing.
2. Interdimensional travelers - similar to number 1, the many universe theory that is suggested by multiple timelines means that there may be a way to travel between parallel universes. The sightings of ships coming out of what appear to be portals in the sky could point to this.
3. Ancient Civilization - it has been suggested that a pre-Younger Dryas civilization may have survived in some way - underground, underwater, lunar, or off world - and is keeping tabs on us.
4. Black projects - of course it could always just be black projects. It can be assumed that we have technology far in advance of what is commonly known by the public and this whole current flap could just be a way of eventually revealing the existence of this technology to the world at large.
Notice that none of these explanations require trips of great distances, little green men, anal probes, or cosmic crystal consciousness.
We have already established we can shoot down unidentified aircraft in our space so why not? In all these stories I have read, I've never read that we attempted to bring one down until the balloon fiasco.
Should not be hard to being one down or at least try.
Politicians really hate to admit there are some thing they just don’t understand and can’t control.
