There was another reference where on the prayer board postings were for the church to repent regarding homo perverts.
If the revival is real then such people will have no impact, in this case let G-D manage it. They will of course make their claims and spread their lies but G-D will see to it his people come to him.
There are Gay groups who have been opposing the early grooming and sex change push for children.
There is nothing more informative than a podcaster.
“I thought this was surprising if not shocking.”
Not me. My first post about this was to be wary of “strong delusions” that will occur during end times. The first video I saw of the event gave me the creeps.
My question on this is WHAT SHOULD WE SEE IF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AT WORK?
Everyone looks at this and it is so spiritual , led by students, reverent, worshipful, etc. All sound good until you think about it.
Rick Warren and Francis Chan were behind this so-called “spontaneous” revival
Is there much teaching going on or just prayer and corporate worship? If the latter then seems like the involvement of some with bad doctrine is not a big issue. If however someone is teaching a false doctrine be it about homosexuality or the prosperity gospel or whatever else then it becomes the business of Christians to try to set the record straight.
Matthew 7:21-23
I’ve never seen such scrutiny regarding a revival nor have I ever seen such attempts to disparage an entire event. What I have seen, is that satan never lets something profound go without inserting doubts and muddying up the message and he will use any means possible to discredit the situation including using ‘seemingly reputable’ people/sources. There is no absolutely no doubt that this Nation NEEDS a revival and this one grew exponentially which is a threat to demons. Can’t have something like this spread!
If they are false prophets, they will pay a very high price.
I’m very framilar with the area and it has always been known locally that Asubry siminary students are almost all gay. They are college students and they do frequent the local gay bars and take part in drag shows. I’ve known this and seen this from the early 90s.
St. Teresa of Avila once said that Satan dances on the rooftops of seminaries. Would you expect less at a revival in an effort to taint it?
This thing seemed pretty fake and gay from the start. Now confirmed as fake and gay.
When I saw the woman “minister”, I knew it was fake.
Skeptics are part of revival:
Acts 2
12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”
One YT commenter:
Before I knew Christ, I was fully embedded in the LGBT community. I believed in God but obviously did not love Him. I always felt bad but kept living in my sin of homosexuality. Until 2 years ago when I was saved ! Praise God for my deliverance, and praise God for even a moment He thought of me .
I’ve heard the famous Azusa Street Revival had some demonic manifestations. God used it tremendously still.
Lately, this seems applicable to today:
2 Peter 2:
4For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to [b]hell and delivered them into chains of
darkness, to be reserved for judgment;
...
9then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,
10and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of [c]dignitaries,
11whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.
12But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption,
13and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to [d]carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, [e]carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you,
14having eyes full of [f]adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.
15They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.
Interesting.
In a nation starving for God, we are warned to not go running to every whim that tells us He is here or there.
This is not to disparage or cast doubt, but to call upon wisdom. In the last days many will seek Him, but instead be led astray by potential revival events.
I have listened to a few pastors this week questioning what was happening at the college. Questioning and rightly saying ...I don’t know.
