I present this for your consideration. I am still trying to digest this new information myself but thought those of you who have been following this revival might be interested.
This podcaster's point is quite simple and that is that several student groups who played important leadership roles at the Asbury revival self-identify as LGBTQ. He makes his argument for these conclusions.
The "self-identification" as gay is the problem. They're not identifying as formerly gay people who have repented, but as a group of (currently?) gay people. This podcaster accuses these gay groups of trying to insinuate themselves into the revival as a means of increasing tolerance for LBGTQ.
I'll let you draw your own conclusions about the rest.
All that said, I thought this was surprising if not shocking. It certainly threatens to taint what was a glorious event.
I’ve never seen such scrutiny regarding a revival nor have I ever seen such attempts to disparage an entire event. What I have seen, is that satan never lets something profound go without inserting doubts and muddying up the message and he will use any means possible to discredit the situation including using ‘seemingly reputable’ people/sources. There is no absolutely no doubt that this Nation NEEDS a revival and this one grew exponentially which is a threat to demons. Can’t have something like this spread!

Nope. Not "many people" asking about racial BS. Just those looking for a way to tarnish Godly people. Same with her: "Others have questions about whether the Asbury revival will affirm LGBTQ persons and recognize the queer community at the school." There we go again with the anonymous "others" who are just as hidden as the "many people" and Sasquatch. We know they're there...somewhere...so we must write about them.
I’m very framilar with the area and it has always been known locally that Asubry siminary students are almost all gay. They are college students and they do frequent the local gay bars and take part in drag shows. I’ve known this and seen this from the early 90s.

YOu have made some assumptions about this event, what evidence are you looking at?
What does God say on the matter? According to Him, what should we see and hear?
Mar 13:22 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.
The above verse is among the most scary in the Bible. If left to our own ability, we would be fooled. ONLY God stops deception.
Test these events with God’s word, not assumptions and feelings.
When I saw the woman “minister”, I knew it was fake.
Yes, this nation desperately needs a real revival. If this is REAL, lives will be utterly changed. Those who are living sinful lifestyles (i.e., homosexuality) will repent and leave those life styles behind.
Time will tell. My sense is that there was so much commotion in the chapel, how could anyone “hear” the Holy Spirit “speaking” to them.?
I never said ‘it is so spirtual’. Where’d you get that? I was simply saying that it is being scrutinized and I hadn’t ever seen that.
I don’t know their names, but I have seen them as guests on the Tucker Carlson show.
Nothing is saying that these Gay groups need to be accepted in a leadership role by straight people. I don’t judge people by who they go to bed with, any more than what color their skin is. We had a women’s hockey coach in high, who was openly lesbian, who was an excellent role model and coach, whose life was above reproach as far as the students were concerned, but we had a lesbian at our church, who molested her own daughters and stalked my mother. This was back in the sixties.

Before I knew Christ, I was fully embedded in the LGBT community. I believed in God but obviously did not love Him. I always felt bad but kept living in my sin of homosexuality. Until 2 years ago when I was saved ! Praise God for my deliverance, and praise God for even a moment He thought of me .
