Chloe Cole, a detransitioned 18-year-old woman, announced the first official lawsuit in the U.S. against the hospital and affiliated medical group that facilitated her medical transition as a minor.
The Center for American Liberty, along with the Dhillon Law Group and LiMandri & Jonna LLP, have filed a lawsuit against the Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, alleging medical negligence in providing chemical and surgical sex change interventions to Chloe Cole when she was a minor between the ages of 13-16.
“Chloe’s family sought medical treatment for her at Kaiser,” said Harmeet K. Dhillon, attorney and CEO of the Center for American Liberty. “Her physicians and other medical professionals violated the first norm of the profession, the Hippocratic Oath, when, instead of caring for her and providing medically competent diagnoses and treatment, they permanently disfigured her for profit.”

Despite receiving a Notice of Intent to Sue on November 9, 2022, the defendants neglected to respond for over 90 days, which left Cole with “no choice but to seek justice from a court of law,” the press release states.

The lawsuit alleges that the defendants coerced Cole into pursuing irreversible chemical and surgical interventions between the ages of 13 and 16 while “concealing less invasive treatments and by lying to her about her condition.”

The absolutely stupefying thing is that this has to be told to medical (so-called) professionals. And not just told, but taken to court to prove!
Anyone who doubts how far we’ve fallen just needs to think about that for a while.

After surgery, the 'rejection' phase began, with the kids seeing an entirely different side of the doctor. One noted she knew of someone who had to have a hysterectomy because, although no one tells the kids, after 5 years of taking testosterone, women may experience infection/attrophy of the uterus. The girl explaining this was baffled that her doctor seemed so nice and caring, never told her about the potential hysterectomy, didn't want to see her for any sort of follow up and acted annoyed when contacted.
Complete medical malpractice in every sense of the word - destroying human health, conning disturbed children into trusting them and the neglecting medical followup and rejecting them personally.
There’s billions of dollars at stake, just because there’s lawsuits doesn’t mean they’re going to dismantle this entire industry. It needs to be made explicitly illegal under the law.
REAL justice will not be achieved for they have wrecked this little girls life for profit. Maybe the court can give her some relief, but only God can dish out the punishment they deserve. This issue makes my blood boil at the medical community.
If the parents signed off on these procedures, they should be held liable too.
My prayers are with Chloe and others like her who have similarly been harmed by these evil practitioners.
The evil monsters responsible for this will try to pass blame off to the parents. Hopefully, our courts are not too far gone to do the right thing.
I hope this will finally stop this insanity. I would also prefer that these doctors who participated in this travesty would also be subjected to mutilation by receiving a sex change themselves.
Doubt if they will ever regain the trust of the public.

Reminding doctors and providers they are giving surgical procedures to treat mental illness - which has NEVER worked in the past.
And when this bizarre trend turns, which it will - they will face criminal and financial disaster for the things they did.

Those unethical “medical” professionals and their administrators will NEVER stop until they are personally held accountable for their actions, and lose lots of $$$ as a result!
Its kind of interesting. If parents refuse a treatment that the medical community thinks the minor should have, then they report the parents to CPS and parental authority gets taken away for medical decision making.
What I think is going to happen for these malpractice cases to stick in court is lack of informed consent on future complications and also lack of due diligence in making sure the minor had gender dysphoria. Currently, what I have read, is psych counseling is minimal, and often done by midlevel providers like a psych nurse practitioner who is not trained like a MD. A couple of sessions with a subpar practitioner and hormone treatment is started.
When the lawsuits start piling up, and lets face it, if it goes to court most jurors will side with the patient. Transgender surgery is not a popular thing among the general public. That is when malpractice carriers will refuse to cover this treatment, and also hospital systems .
The same thing happened with abortions at the Kaiser I worked at about 10 years ago. They referred all the abortions out to a non affiliated community clinic because the publicity, hassle, and finding a provider to do this was not worth the headache.
Prescribing hormones and performing surgery on someone with Gender Dysphoria is far more criminal than prescribing diet pills for an Anorexic which would have landed the doctor in prison.
The medical industry has proven themselves incapable of self-regulation and oversight and the government has proven itself aligned with the lawbreakers, leaving the victims to their own recourse.
The industry has been on a decline in trust that will take several generations to overcome, if that is even possible.
