Probably because women tend to take more coverage than men for the same car.
perhaps men are just better drivers...
Florida Women
There are many demographics which include more irresponsible single women.
Do the single women's coverage include coverage for children, for example?
Of course they do. Don’t you remember that classic song about women drivers in Florida?
“Blue Hairs Driving in My Lane”

Bu cops let them off on more tickets so it evens out.
maybe because men aren’t painting our faces while we’re driving...
And men end up paying that anyway....
It’s due to all that farding while driving.
$300 more, and not just compared to any man, compared to FLORIDA man.
Lower deductibles.
Most studies I’ve seen say the opposite

Not stereotyping. But when I see a bad driver it is usually in this order:
Chinese Women
Black Women
White Women
Just a fact.
I got involved in an accident last year. I was waiting at a stop light behind some other cars when this woman pulled out from a side street not looking at me, but looking at the cars behind me and she kept going going going, oh no, stop stop, I blow the horn, she keeps going and crunch right into my passenger door pushing it it. I told her “YES! That’s how we drive! Never looking in front, but to the side” Then she wanted to pay me $50 to not report it to insurance. Yeah that’s it, my door squashed in will only cost $50 to fix.
Oh, the irony. In the old days, when insurance companies were permitted to use any risk criteria for payments, women paid substantially less for car insurance than men. Especially teenagers - teenage girls paid a lot less than teenage boys. But then the government “solved” that “discrimination” and insurance costs for teenage girls shot up.
How much more per year do men pay for life insurance, as compared to women?
And the problem with that is?
What about for married couples? Do these rates apply only to unmarried people of either sex?
Just saying, when I was married, my wife and I got insurance quotes and bills for both of us together. Then , as our children came of age they were added to the policy.
Just saying, I didn’t know precisely how the premiums were calculated. Never recall a bill indicating which portion of the premium was for me ,,which for my wife, and which for children as they came of age.
When agents see the upside down BLOND license plate may have something to do with it.
Rates are higher because women always try to explain that it wasn’t their fault.
