Visitors to Yosemite National Park got more than they expected when a rockslide came off the east side of El Capitan on Monday, originating very close to the park’s famous firefall.
The tail end of the incident —– which happened at about 11:45 a.m. — was captured on video by photographer James Piper. In the video, the sound of crashing rocks can be heard echoing across the valley as smoke, debris and dust fill the air at the base of the iconic El Capitan.
"Holy God," a man in the background can be heard saying.

I thought this was a joke about a Macbook operating systems clashing....

Amen. We lost the famous "Man of the Mountains" in New Hampshire a few years back.
Caused by climate change. Trumps fault...
This is obviously Trump’s fault.
I just can’t figure out how he did it.
1. All mountains are temporary.
2. The mountains don’t care whether you live or die.

I remember El Capitan when it was more intact. Ah the good old days.

Maybe, but I’m still trying figure out if it is the too much rain or too little rain or global warming or global cooling or sea levels rising type of climate change....
