Under NORMAL vaccine trials.....just ONE death, puts the trial on alert.
Once 25 - 50 deaths have occurred, the trial is STOPPED, typically, worldwide.
But, these shots are NOT normal....nor, are they even vaccines, in the traditional sense, since they do NOT prevent disease, or, contracting the china virus.
Any real doc knows this.

Also, for a small group of posters, something that may appear to contradict the narrative that they are trying to push is met on several threads with calls of “$hot $hill”, etc, etc. I mean - look at someone on this thread who posted that not all college students were getting vaccinated. He is met with disbelief.
Why? Probably because such a post goes against the belief most college students get vaccinated. Based on my small sample size (~100) - about 60% of students got vaccinated. The rest filed religious or medical exemptions, or just submitted fake vaccine cards. In my state, at a state college system, for the 5-6 colleges I know of, just filing a form that says “I request a religious exemption” is approved. Why? Revenue is a good guess.
Lastly, consider this. When a poster can suggest that President Trump is sending a message to citizens by the way he holds a glass of water to drink - then ANYTHING is possible to believe when it comes to vaccinations, UFO’s, devolution, etc. There’s just no end to what can be conjured up.
They took a random sample after decommissioning and said about 20% of the images were too blurry to read or were pictures of something irrelevant like a middle finger. Several pictures of the Constitution. This is Appalachia. There was a lot of pushback against having to upload the HIPAA violation.
When I got my flu vax, Walgreens said people are refusing the booster.
I am not up to date with the latest booster. As i wrote about 6-8 months ago except for a small segment of people as the pandemic as evolved COVID is a benign disease.

The pandemic has played out exactly how every other one has played out except for the political angle.
For the vast majority of Americans it’s over. Medically it’s over. Because everyone has access to social media and the internet it is easy to become convinced an opinion is factual when it is not
But at the point when we have people talking about killing others who are politically divergent on this issue then perhaps it has crossed from opinion … to zealotry

Yes in delta all my critically ill we’re not vaccinated. The same observation you heard from Mom MD and Jim Noble. As there are minimal patients in the hospital with COVID and generally i don’t test without a reason the N of the sample is minimal. Which is what happens when the endemic stage is present.
My work and my truth is that I have never gotten any vaxxes since I was 10 years old back in the 50s and 60s. Not even flu vaxxxes. So how vax over loaded are you?
Maybe I’m wrong here, but weren’t you one of the Pro vax Freepers touting the legitimacy of the PCR test for COVID? That sure didn’t age well if that was you.
I defined what PCR is used for and said it’s a worthless screening test. The problem with PCR is you can have a non clinically significant positive. This is not a false positive. The other issue is that PCR is a highly specific test used to confirm a highly sensitive test. It was used incorrectly. But that is just having knowledge of Bayesian statistics.
I am not over vaccinated any more than you are under vaccinated. The difference is you exercising your choice to not take vaccination is not an affront to me. However it seriously appears that people who are vaccinated are an insult to the antivaxx crowd.
That in a nutshell is my problem with the ongoing breathless hand wringing. On both sides. There is no disagreement from me that the COVID vaccination is imperfect. Anyone who says it is perfect is wrong. In the same way the constant barrage that people are dropping flies all relates to the mRNA platform is equally as ludicrous. There are zealots on both sides.
Don’t want vaccinated — fine. Back at the time of delta you could be treated with monoclonals. Now it’s a benign disease. Doesn’t need treatment at all except in extremely rare cases.
I have chosen not to get boosted every 8 seconds because the risk to me is minimal. I did choose to get boosted during delta. There was significant risk to me and other front line physicians at that time. I have no particular agenda. I will speak against outrageous extrapolations and untruths with actual fact.

I throw barbs at you because I have a good memory of tour posts throughout the pandemic. Please tell the drug companies that it is over and that there is no reason to advertise for more shots.

Funny that the red rural areas of the country have the lowest vx uptake while the blue urban areas have the highest cv19vx uptake. The cv19vx is for all intents a left-liberal icon, like an artifact for some Catholics.

You know, I've been sitting mostly on the sidelines bemused and amused over you, Dugway Duke, and other members of the cast. This statement of yours shows a bit of wobble or melt. "Imperfect", however, is still a bit of a wiggle-word. I and many others would substitute "useless" or "unnecessary". You still also lean on the word "vaccinated" which is a complete misuse (or at minimum incorrectly defined) of what this thing does. I've had practically every vaccine out there. Some I received in the military I still have no idea what the hell they shot into me. But those were vaccines. These are clearly not by any prior definition.
Nutty conspiracy theories aside, this "vaccine" was simply a costly misadventure. It all came down to the filthiest reason of all -- money.
Still, I see a glimmer of hope for you and your cohorts.

I am a pro-sciencer. Chem eng with graduate degree working in modeling and statistics ~30 yrs. There is no “evidence” behind the majority of vaccines. Just lots of dishonesty and fraud. Do you seriously want to hitch your wagon to that? I am sure your clinical skills are just fine. The belief in vaccines is quasi-religious, not scientific. Lol. I will invite you to read the book.
