Hundreds of teens broke into a Texas family’s home and threw a wild “mansion rager,” causing thousands of dollars in damages, while the unsuspecting family was out earlier this month.
Local high schoolers promoted the Feb. 11 party on social media without consent of the family — who do not have any high school-age children — and then showed up in droves to the Austin property, according to Austin’s Fox 7 News.
“We started receiving numerous phone calls from our neighbors that there were kids on our water tower on our property, there were cars up and down the street, and kids were hopping over the front of our fence,” the homeowner, who requested anonymity, told the local outlet.
The man rushed home last Saturday, but the party-goers were already on their way out. He witnessed “car after car after car just trying to flee the scene,” he said.
“It was horrifying. I mean, it was just [an] unbelievable total violation of one’s privacy,” he added.

We are 2 years from Road Warrior.
Austin.
I’m OK wi’dat.
I really didn’t want to learn a new word for delinquency: “Mansion rager.” I learned “sideshow” against my will just 2 weeks ago. I learned about “wilding” and “the knockout ‘game’ “ a few years ago when street savages attacked humans.
I resent validating these subhuman behaviors by giving them a name. Put the perps in jail for life and let them rot.
Rabidly liberal Austin...it figures..
Indeed. The phrase “violation of my privacy” seems like a liberal plaint to me.
Ah, thank you. Public hangings are a wonderful remedy, they are needed today and would promote the peaceful coexistence.
Well the follow up investigation reporting might prove interesting.. or not but I’d like to see how they develop the case and how many they actually are able to identify as perpetrators. Once I start pressing charges I’m sure some of the pumps will fold and more names will be given up and eventually only a few will probably fall under the radar, that is if the local law enforcement agencies are up to snuff.
What does anyone want to bet that the system will treat this more as a prank than a serious crime?
It can be thoughtful, measured, tempered by mercy but still firm enough to get the point across and handed down by courts OR it can come at the hands of a mob of ordinary people who have just had enough and many people who need not have been hurt are.
But it always comes.
If you do not want the second you must support the first.
Youth and self control like oil and water for most of them.
Not many John Wayne’s left any more.
Wow. We had “house” parties, back in the day, but that was when somebody’s parents foolishly left the kid alone for a weekend. Nobody would even think about breaking into someone else’s home.
The modern day makes “Animal House” look naive.
May each of these pukes get the same treatment when they own homes.
