Morrowind is over 20 years old
The factions and the lore were great.
I’m a Battlefield 1942 / Vietnam and vintage MS combat flight simulator player.
I stil get a kick slaughtering my enemies and dragging their corpses to the bottom of the lake behind my country mansion in Skyrim.
Metroid has held up, imo.
Why hasn’t it held up?
In the grand scheme of life, this is worth worthless knowledge...
Leisure Suit Larry?
If I could get Commander Keen to run on my current machine I’d play it. I loved a lot of those Apogee scrollers. I bought the registered versions for some of them.
I was just thinking about him. There should seriously be an R-Rated series or movie about him, it would be hilarious.
Redneck Rampage

Try the website “Good Old Games” (www.GOG.com. ) if you don’t know about it.
They have a bunch of those old games that have been ported/adapted to newer processors. Often times they are only $5 or $6 dollars. I got Might and Magic VII and VIII there for next to nothing.
This is a really stupid article.
It’s like saying Day of the Dead has aged poorly because zombie movies are “more intense” today?!
These are hallmarks showing the journey and growth of the artistic medium of gaming.
PONG /thread
Yes, most of these games have held up poorly because they are "problematic" in regards to today's woke attitudes.
They don't like that in 'Grand Theft Auto III (2001) PlayStation 2' one could recreationally murder prostitutes.
That was a cool game. BUT IT WAS JUST A GAME!
“Pac-Man has held up. ”
I believe that Pong is still with us too.
As far as PC games go, “Heroes of Might And Magic III” still is a masterpiece in RPG style gaming.
Thanks for the lead. Checking it out.....
