If I could get Commander Keen to run on my current machine I’d play it. I loved a lot of those Apogee scrollers. I bought the registered versions for some of them.

Try the website “Good Old Games” (www.GOG.com. ) if you don’t know about it.
They have a bunch of those old games that have been ported/adapted to newer processors. Often times they are only $5 or $6 dollars. I got Might and Magic VII and VIII there for next to nothing.
Why not run DOS Box? I’ve had trouble with it, but my daughter does just fine.
Download a free program called: DOSBox
It’s available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
It should allow you to run most of those old DOS games.
BTW, the Commander Keen games were awesome, good times.
