6 reasons the neocons in the West wanted this war with Russia

There has been a lot of war news recently, combined with confusing messaging. With no overall aim in sight it is difficult to make sense of the policy of the United States and its Western allies. Here is a brief overview of the chaos which has replaced the careful plans of our masters.

Robert Kagan is one of the leading neoconservatives in the United States. His wife, Victoria Nuland, led the 2014 putsch in Ukraine which installed a neoliberal, Western-oriented government. He openly admits that Russia was provoked into invading Ukraine. Why would he say this?

The reason he said this was because it is true, and because it was part of the neoconservative plan.

Firstly, the U.S. decided to remove Yanukovich because he declined a neoliberal economic package from the West, and moved to accept an interest free loan from Russia instead. The U.S. then toppled his government and replaced it with one which immediately implemented punishing neoliberal “reforms.”

Secondly, the U.S. and NATO then set about rebuilding the defeated Ukrainian army, training and funding it to become the biggest and best in Europe by 2022. In addition, a heavily reinforced defensive line was built down the eastern flank of Ukraine. This is known by some today as the Zelensky Line.

Thirdly, the U.S. and its allies entered into negotiations with Russia over the Donbass whose conditions were never intended to be implemented. It is now admitted by Angela Merkel, former Ukrainian President Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelensky himself that these agreements were undertaken to buy time for the rearmament of Ukraine.

Fourthly, the plan as set out in this 2019 RAND Corporation paper was to engage Russia in a military conflict designed to result in stalemate…

We better surrender to the neocons, apparently they control Russia’s military and forced them to invade Ukraine for a solid year. That’s power.

The neocons didn't count on Russia's apparent boundless ability to demilitarize the Left West...

The neocons were powerful enough to overthrow the government of the United States in a coup, with the cooperation of the Uniparty political oligarchs in CONgrift.

Right, their goal is to control Russia. And the U.S. as well.

The globalist have no need for independent, sovereign countries. Two of those super powers are in their way.

Frank Write, whoever the hell he is, wrote, in part (and you citing him): “...in addition, a heavily reinforced defensive line was built down the eastern flank of Ukraine..”.
So, Ukraine built a defensive line to attack Russia, and that is one of the reasons Russia was provoked into this war? It doesn’t make any sense. A dog barking loud enough would provoke Russia...

“It is for these reasons that it is seeking a swift exit from Ukraine which pacifies the Russians. The United States has orchestrated a defeat for itself of an order of magnitude which eclipses the debacle of Afghanistan, having weakened its allies, exposed its military vulnerability, attacked a fellow NATO member and taken measures which have seriously degraded the European economy. It appears to have no plan other than to cut and run from the mess it will leave its friends in Europe, who will have to find their own way to deal with a renascent and victorious Russia. “

Yep

Best summary I’ve read in at least a week.

No.

The REAL power has been the neocon alliance with do-gooder Democrats. It has nearly destroyed a once great republic. And wrecked havoc around the globe.

But, politically, we have put them back in their cage and they are foamin’ at the mouth mad.

Now they are just another circus show.

Too bad about all the hell they’ve brought to man in the interim.

You must of missed the part where Robert Kagan admitted His wife, Victoria Nuland, fomented the 2014 Euromaiden Revolution in Ukraine which installed a neoliberal, Western-oriented government. He openly admits that Russia was provoked into invading Ukraine.

Why would I be fooled by somebody saying his wife provoked a coup 8 years ago and caused Russia to invade Ukraine.

Do you not see reality in front of your eyes that RUSSIA invaded Ukraine for the past year?

No one forces a despot like Putin to invade his neighbors.

The historical discussion is fascinating but the conclusions drawn are fantasy.

Reality is that Putin sucks, he’s a thug and he’s brought destruction all around Russia, and now to his own country as well.

I love the part about the big plot with which we forced Putin into a disastrous war.

He must be the stupidest fool ever to walk the earth.

“Ukraine built a defensive line to attack Russia, and that is one of the reasons Russia was provoked”

Just like the French Maginot line forced Germany to invade in 1940. WWII - it was all provoked by French insistence on defending themselves.
