Australian Federal Police say they were alerted by the Western Australia Police Force on February 1 that three men were rescued from the ocean off the coast of the city of Albany, but their story that their fishing vessel had capsized seemed inconsistent to authorities.
A little less than a week later, police say a plastic-wrapped package with packets of cocaine inside washed up on the beach near the town of Denmark on the western coast. Shortly after, an overturned boat was discovered off the coast of Peaceful Bay about 25 miles west of the town of Denmark.
Police say they found eight plastic-wrapped packages of cocaine, weighing 88 pounds, in the boat.

Should have payed attention to that part of the safety briefing that says “in the event of a capsizing, packets of cocaine can be used as a flotation device”.
Nearly everyday here in So Cal. Speedball boats wash up with a combo of coke and fentanyl

That whole metric conversion from pounds to kilos probably threw them off.

I had an image of a shark hopped up on coke in my head.

...and they assure the public that they are thankful for the tips that allowed them to located the 705 pounds of cocaine, and prevent the 605 pounds of cocaine from making it on to the street, and they will soon be incinerating the 205 pounds of cocaine...
Sounds like somebody’s pinchin’ the stash! LOL!
