It’s a fairly common mistake. Just a few days ago I wrote a sentence that caused me to pause a moment concerning which one to use where there was an inanimate noun following two personal pronouns.

Does the word ‘that’ refer back to the interviews or to the doctors, and how does one make that determination. Proximity?

I think in this case is refers to ‘doctors’, as the rest of the sentence is ‘active’. That is, the doctors went against the grain since they form the basis of the interviews.

Because it was translated by the English (who to this day don't distinguish between "who" and "that." American grammar is quite different and insists on using "who" for people.

I believe I may have misunderstood yours.

Data doesn’t require a doctor to be presented. It requires an understanding of statistics.

I understood that those of us presenting data demonstrating the danger of the mRNA injections compared against effective therapeutics were being referenced as “FRoctors”.

I’m beginning to think you are instead referring to those claiming to have medical knowledge and still pushing the clot shot even now when we have the data that demonstrates the relative dangers and benefits of the mRNA shots and the attacked therapeutics.
