This is must-see TV. If you didn't watch it last night, give yourself a treat and watch it today.
Friday night's opening monologue on Tucker Carlson Tonight was a further demonstration of why Mr. Carlson is the most important political commentator in the United States. He takes on and explains political issues in ways that clarify what is really going on and uses his considerable dramatic skills to engage and keep a mass audience focused on what can be rather abstract issues.
This is not to denigrate other brilliant conservatives such as Victor Davis Hanson — who Tucker recently acknowledged "without shame" is smarter than he is — but rather to acknowledge the accessibility and reach that his perch as the top-rated cable news program host gives him.
Tucker began his monologue by grounding it an observation made a couple of decades ago by the late Michael Crichton, an absolutely brilliant original thinker who became a bestselling author, movie producer, and director: that apocalyptic climate doom had become the religion of the urban atheist class, which now rules politics and which has made it into our state religion.

I absolutely agree that it was a great piece. I highly recommend watching it and send it to your favorite leftists.
“When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing, they then become capable of believing in anything.” ― G.K. Chesterton
Actually, have a look at this post regarding Harrison Ford from earlier this morning:
“Harrison Ford: ‘I was raised Democrat’ and ‘my moral purpose was being a Democrat with the big D’”

He actually illuminates the left, albeit accidentally, very well . . .
Of the USA.
Agree.
Tucker Carlson’s job is the agitate old geezers in exchange for ad revenue.
The very real communist front the Sierra Club started the Envirocult in the 70s. Then they forced it on Berkeley who picked up the Envirocommunist baton and started pumping out Communist indoctrination enablers. Who then spread out across the nation promoting the Envirocult and Envirocommunism like a disease.
Watched it happen step by step.
I only have unfavorite leftist.
Nothing new here. ‘Nature’ is,(has LONG BEEN) the religion of the Godless.
Nature is the surrogate for people who refuse to have a faith, in ANYTHING.
The far left progressives are actually lily white. Nearly seven-in-ten Progressive Left (68%) are White adults, making this group less racially and ethnically diverse than the other Democratic-oriented groups.
Yet, these Dems hold not only extremist views on race, but views more extreme than those held by more racially-diverse Dem groups.
They live in enclaves in cities, prefer going to museums over going to the range, and think religion is sophistry. Their policies and language all reek of a Superiority Complex.
I get Affinity bias. We all have it. I'd probably be rejected by an Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune and the feeling would be mutual. But this lot has it in for blacks, youths and elders.
Scratch a progressive, find a Klansman in a suit and tie or lab coat...and a climate doomer.
View after church.
Sodomy and child castration are also doctrines, and abortion is a sacrament.
“‘Nature’ is,(has LONG BEEN) the religion of the Godless.”
That is not true. There is nothing Godless about loving nature. God made it for us to enjoy. Every hunter and fisherman enjoy the sport to get closer to God and nature.
The Envirocult is not about nature at all. It is just their excuse to launder money and force communism on us all.
Where is the separation of church and state croud when we need them?
Climate change IS a religion.
Urban atheists join Christian tribulation alarmists.
I worship carbon.
It’s made my life better in innumerable ways!
