Either the ground controller screwed up or the IQ on the part of the rampies has gone way down. After the rampie got ingested last month I tend to believe the latter.

When I hear young people mock “Karens” and use terms like “boomers” to describe older people (of both genders) to whom they can’t relate at all (many Karens are middle-aged or older), I point out to them that many of these are people who simply remember when everything was better/functioned more smoothly. As with the older animals in “Animal Farm” (who remember better though not perfect times under the original human owner), those memories pose a threat to those seek to “fundamentally transform” the US - so the Bolshevik media targets and marginalizes them. It isn’t just “dumb white guys” in commercials; plenty of commercials have non-white women schooling white women on various things.
The “diversity, equity, and inclusion” BS plays a role, but also understand there are far less Anglos/WASPs in today’s population (as a proportion of the whole), and it was their model and ethics that made this country great. There are less and less in the workplace today, and the effect can’t be concealed. Grim, but there is some job security if you live by that code; it seems (by the YouTube videos out there) these tech layoffs put a lot of “diversity, equity, and inclusion” people out on the street as those employers cut the fat.
That plane just came out of nowhere. This could be in the top 10 for stupid wrecks.
Inertia means you can NOT stop quickly while towing a plane. It was the bus driver’s job to be aware of things around him and avoid collision.
That’s... not the definition of a Karen. At all. It does get misused, but that’s not it at all. Karens demand things to which they are not entitled, services that are not offered and the royal treatment from people who don’t work at the store they’re shopping in, because “the customer is always right!” “GET ME ALL THE THINGS ON THIS LIST NOW, YOU PEON!” “But I don’t work here. I’m wearing the uniform of a gas company and this is a grocery store.” “YOU STILL WORK HERE! YOU WILL SERVE ME OR I WILL HAVE YOU FIRED!” Etc., etc.

The woman sucked into the engine was a diversity hire which did not abide by the rules.
I suspect true same is true here.
People who ignore rules their entire lives and suffer no consequences for doing so should not be placed in positions where they can endanger other lives.
I am stating the obvious yet I don’t see that being practiced.
LAX is by far the worst airport I have ever been to. It is what you literally have nightmares about. We recently discovered that three hours was not enough time to make a connecting flight on the same airline from the International Terminal.

99.9% chance you are incorrect. You tow a plane at 3 or 4 mph, the bus is the culprit with the speed and agility. The bus driver is ultimately responsible unless the tug driver drove into a vehicle only area.
I’ve been to California once. I actually took a flight with a connection and layover just so I could fly into John Wayne International.

The trademark of a Karen is “I’d like to speak to the manager” - and that is because things that had worked smoothly in the past no longer work. It is obvious because they are never young people.

Usually Karen asks for that because she’s demanding something she’s not entitled to. Sometimes people appeased her in the past, sometimes she’s newly demanding.
