After chasing scotch for years, I’ve been on a bit of a rye kick. Fortunately, it’s made a comeback due to small distillers. Maryland used to be a hotbed of rye whisky, but the last distiller “Pikesville Supreme” closed in the 70’s.

I’m with you, Tijeras_Slim.

I’ve been on a bourbon journey for years. Now and then, though, I pop over to the Rye brands. And, I find them refreshing, bright, and some are quite tasty. Most recently, I spent some time with Sazerac Rye, taken neat or on the rocks. Quite good stuff.

But, I’ll be back to my ‘go to’ Bourbon next week...Woodford Reserve Double Oaked.

Sadly, I’ve never tasted a Bullitt expression that I liked. But...to eah his own.

Typically get several of our 1.5's from Costco when on sale.

Sazerac 18 doesn’t need mixers. Ice cube optional. Just sayin’...
