When are the voters who pay for these useless schools going to wake up?
According to WBFF-TV (Fox45), the Maryland State Department of Education recently released Baltimore students' 2022 test results, which revealed that an incredible 93% of third- through eighth-graders tested below their grade level in math.
In fact, after analyzing the results, the Baltimore news station found 23 city schools where not a single student tested proficient in math.
The terrible twenty-three comprised ten high schools, eight elementary schools, three middle and high schools, and two elementary and middle schools.
In total, 2,000 students at those "learning institutions" took the math assessment, and zero scored at grade level. Not. A. Single. One.
And the vast majority of Baltimore's other grade, middle, and high schools didn't fare much better, as most of their students received abysmal test scores as well.
0 for 2000? How is that possible? And we're not talking about "genius" or "exceptional" students, or even those above average — just those competent at their grade level!
Of which there were none at those 23 institutions of lower edumacation. And zero/none is less than "any."

Much is cultural. When I was in school, any black student who did well would be shunned and taunted for “sucking up to whitey”. I am sure it has not changed.
Ironically, the guys running the drug rings are probably very good at math
I wonder how many could figure that is 100%?
All they need is more money.
The Kirwan Commission studied this problem for years and decided a few billion more taxpayer dollars (statewide tax) would solve all their problems.
Of course they will never admit failure.
A lot of cashiers have trouble with counting out the right change, even though the exact figure is right in front of them on the register.
This is due to having minimal math skills and to a big decrease in people using cash. Some don’t even know what a $50 bill looks like. I gave a $50 bill to a cashier for a $4 item and he gave me back $1! Dumbass. I got my $46 but not without insisting he look in his register.
These teachers don't realize that they are nothing but tools of the Marxists in America who want to use them to destroy our system.
Was AOC the cashier?
A lot of the teachers themselves don’t know math.
Next subject on the budget..... mmmmm.... increases for prisons. With the failure of our schools which have caused increase crime activity, we must have massive increases in our prison budget, after all its for the children!
It’s hard to believe that the HBO series “The Wire” portrays “The Good Old Days” of Baltimore.
They have evolved from institutions of learning to centers of indoctrination.
I’ve really been noticing that a lot. I think part of it may be because so many people pay with plastic. That’s dead easy. If you pay with cash, the cashier may be thinking “Oh drat! Now I have to figure out the change. Damn!” I’ve seen people struggle to put together coins to total 83 cents. It’s hard, man.
Schools used to really drill all kinds of arithmetic — and they also taught practical skills like “counting back change”. I’m pretty sure they don’t bother with that stuff now.
Bet they know their “pronouns” !
Your premise is flawed.
The reason for being a Baltimore “teacher” is not to educate the children but rather to draw down as salary the funds available for the education system.
Education is for the educators.
I bet the student body was mostly Asian.
The one where I suggest that these teachers should feel guilt or the one where I suggest that these teachers are tools of Marxism.
But they’re well versed in CRT, the proper pronouns and all things LDBTQIA+.
Child abuse by the state is no abuse at all. Just redefine passing...”pre-sent!”
