Four students have been charged in a New Jersey school hallway attack on a classmate who killed herself days later, prosecutors said.
One was charged with aggravated assault, another with harassment and two others with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a statement Friday.
Their names have not been released. NBC News does not usually name minors charged with a crime, even those charged as adults.
"Each juvenile and their guardian was served with a copy of their complaint and are released pending future court appearances," Billhimer said.
The prosecutor's announcement is the latest development in a case that has garnered national attention after video of the Feb. 1 attack at Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township was posted online.
Adriana Kuch, 14, was found dead in her Bayville home on Feb. 3. The four students involved in the assault have been suspended, Central Regional School District Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides said.
Adriana's father, Michael Kuch, said in Facebook posts and to NBC New York that several students attacked his daughter while walking with her boyfriend in the hallway.
He wrote on Facebook that a video of the fight was posted online and Adriana, a freshman, had been tagged in it. He said he believes it was posted to "make fun of her online."

Well very soon our side is going to get angry.
You won’t like us when we get angry.
No hate crimes charges? That would’ve been the first charge listed had the victim been black and if the thugs were white. No equal justice is no justice.
Could be Hispanic.
BS. When I was 15 I never was tempted to beat anybody to death. If the girl’s boyfriend had not intervened those girl would have beaten the girl to death.
Hang ‘em from the gym rafters and make the entire student body watch them twitch until dead.
Creating a Ton Ton Macoute organization..
Yeah. I hope everyone knows I posted that from a legal site to show just how easily these monsters might get off.
I like your ending better.
I was posting from a legal site re:kinds of punishments the monsters faced.
And a school nurse who didn’t send a head injury to the ED should also be fried.
I figured that you had to be quoting that site and not endorsing what they were saying. My post may have been ambiguous regarding that.
I'm sure you meant well, but that is an unfortunate way to look at it. Many bereaved parents donate a scholarship, a city park or an educational foundation after they are awarded damages in a case like this. We don't know what this family will do, but it's distasteful to think that their motivations for suing would be to retire off of his child's tragedy.
That said, I hope his lawyers can make the school officials pay more than the taxpayer. Someone has to hurt in their pocketbook for this depraved indifference to the evil of bullying and assault in the school.
The attack was brutal. Unfortunately, yes, some people might only be interested because they think the story fits their narrative. So many young people commit suicide, and most people pay no attention to their stories. In fact, children younger than this poor girl have ended their lives after being bullied. I remember one heartbreaking case about an 8yo boy.
