Four New Jersey high school students have been suspended indefinitely after they allegedly attacked a 14-year-old student in the hallway, who took her life 48 hours later after video of the attack surfaced online.
Ocean County prosecutors reportedly told Michael Kuch, father of 14-year-old Adriana Olivia Kuch, that at least three of the girls involved are facing criminal charges for the February 1 attack on his daughter at Central Regional High School in Berkeley Townshi

District officials said that the four girls’ suspensions will last until the legal process plays out.
Family members found Adriana Kuch dead by suicide at her Bayville home on February 3. Just two days earlier, video posted to social media revealed several students brutally attacking the freshman as she and her boyfriend walked down the school hallway.
According to NJ.com, the less than one minute video showed Adriana Kuch walking down the hallway when a female student repeatedly hit her in the face with a water bottle. After she fell to the floor, the female student continued pulling her hair and punching her head. At least two students could be heard off-camera cheering on the attack.
The attack was broken up 30 seconds later by two school employees, with Adriana Kuch left bruised and bloodied on the floor.
Michael Kuch told NBC 4 that his daughter was taken to a nurse, not the hospital, despite blacking out and being covered in bruises.
"I want the entire world to know what these animals did to my daughter," Michael Kuch said, adding that "a kid is assaulted with a weapon and their policy is not to call the police or file a report."
On Wednesday, more than 200 students at Central Regional High School staged a walkout, expressing their anger over the school administration’s handling of bullying.
"Adriana took her own life because nobody at the school was able to help or care or step in," sophomore Roman Valez told NBC 4. "I would actually like to teach the people who bully what they’re actually doing and how it affects."
Another student said he wanted those involved to be "criminally charged because some girl killed herself because of their actions."
"Adriana seemed to have been an especially loved student. A neighbor shared video from last summer when a daughter appeared to be drowning in her backyard pool — that's when Adrianna jumped in to save the little girl," NBC 4 reported.
"She was like a daughter to me, she was at my house almost every day," said neighbor Roxanne Gattuso.
She was never told how God feels about killing yourself. I believe you know this and are only asking the question to make others think about the truth that nobody will talk about.

It's always been this way for girls, too, at least where I grew up a long time ago. Even the boys would gang up to shove us girls around.
But, back then, the bullies didn't have social media. Now, the whole world laughs at the kid who's bullied.
I am ambivalent. Yes the attackers should be prosecuted and do some real time in Juvy at least. But If the mother cares for the girl why was she kept in public school? It is no longer a weird option to homeschool your child or at least put her in a charter school with some standards. Parents no longer have excuses. The “socialisation myth is long ago put to rest. Sports is no longer an argument. Homeschooling is long past being an unknown option that only the rich can afford. It is a hierarchy of things tat re important. If one’s children are less important than that new car every two years, then park them out of sight in the government day prison. The parents are in part to blame for what happens to the minds and bodies of their children in public school.
Many here may not know it.
If just 10% of the 200 kids ambushed and beat down the girls who who beat the student, then maybe other thugs would think twice about beating someone up.
It’s still not too late for this.
Nope they don’t work the kids sent to one learn how to play the game.
Not me. I got bullied, I immediately was ready to throw down. Got me suspended a few times but made a few friends along the way too.
Sometimes, I really hate people.
They want to insane everyone.
Shame on the school... For a long time now, at least the past 20 years, schools have been sweeping this stuff under the rug. In the 2000’s, I knew families with kids who were assaulted in school, and the parents removed them. All in the same state as this case. Principals here are more worried about their jobs and their school’s reputation than the students.
How much more do people need to see? Eliminate government schools.

Some people may think I am making a Dick move. all I am doing is cataloging a video that they posted online. not me. Do not go out looking for attention then cry when you get way to much. my wife and I are receiving private phone calls to our phones and people are hanging up. Just so you know, I daydream that someone is dumb enough to come to my home and start sh**.”
“I am sharing what one of the kids who attacked my daughter publicly posted. this is the monster that filmed the first Video I recieved. take a moment and picture someone saying this about your daughter after they jump and humiliate her. —this girl also sent a private message to my daughter on her phone stating she did not beat her a** because she just got off of homebound—- so she recorded instead. you know what is screwed up. most of these girls were on my daughter friends list for one of the social media apps”
These pigs who attacked her need to be eradicated from the face of the Earth....And it needs to be painful.
I almost wished I didn’t watch that video, it’s not good for my blood pressure, God I am so angry.

These things make me angry, too. But, I don’t want anyone to feel sick.

The school superintendent should be fired for allowing a climate where this atrocity could happen.
