Chilling, new surveillance video has emerged of a person appearing to run from the scene where New Jersey Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour was gunned down in her SUV last week.
The short clip obtained by News 12 New Jersey was recorded about 7 p.m. Feb. 1 – around the time Dwumfour was killed – and shows a person wearing dark clothing darting across the frame.
It reportedly matches witness accounts that the shooter fled to the Garden State Parkway near the Camelot at La Mer apartment complex in Sayreville, where the victim was found slumped behind the wheel of her white Nissan.
The suspect also could have run down an embankment onto nearby Ernston Road, where authorities have installed digital signs asking for help from the public, according to News 12.
The quality of the footage is poor and it is difficult to make out details of the person seen running.

The spouse of a murder victim is always the first suspect, even if they are in another place...........
With Seth Rich, the hit was immediately called a “failed robbery”.
Was this also a “failed robbery”?
“Was this also a “failed robbery”?”
No, she was killed in her car, so this one’s a “failed carjacking”.
When you hear shots, don’t you run? Either away in self-preservation or towards if your job in law enforcement or the military requires it? Could have been a bystander.
I just hope the killer is caught.
