I think this ranked system should go to the USSC. One vote only!!!

Sarah has not held office in
almost 24 years! In politics, that’s a separate generation.”

That would depend on your definition of “almost.”

The Republican Party are saps again for agreeing to the ranked choice system.

Decades ago, when I lived in Massachusetts, the Democrats would always throw a "Kennedy" on the Republican ballot for local state races. What this did was split the opposing vote (because so many Bay Staters will vote for any Kennedy in a knee jerk manner) and allow the chosen candidate to cruise to victory.

Whose fault is it for allowing it to happen?

Alaskans.

Either Murkowski and her ilk have the power to get what they want there or conservatives didn't do enough to stop them.

One vote per voter for each office on the ballot. Whomever receives the most votes wins. It ain’t rocket science. KISS principle applies.

Really all she’s got is name recognition, but half the people that recognize her name see her as a joke.

It still surprises me how many conservatives don't understand the importance of branding, and being able to appeal to audiences beyond the base. Trump came from the private sector and brought his own brand to the campaign in 2016, but then lost that outsider appeal due to years of media lies coupled with some missteps of his own. Palin did not have such a brand, was subsequently, turned into a joke by the media, and never recovered.

> It seems to me we can use ranked voting and ballot harvesting to our advantage just as easily. <

That is an excellent point. But so far it doesn’t seem to be happening. The GOP has too many Pee Wee Hermans. On the other hand, the Democrats are full of fire-eaters (AOC, Schumer, etc.).

You can elect any Democrat you choose.

Always wondered about people that like to cut themselves.

Yep. He has no chance in 2024. It's not 2016 where you have some independents who know him as that businessman from New York and they preferred to vote for him over Hillary.

Note to Alaskans: If you want to take your state back from Deep State, secure your elections. Get rid of RCV, RCV-enabled voting machines, early voting, mail-in voting, et al.

Ranked choice entire purpose is to ensure the most popular candidate loses... period.

RCV is the final nail in the coffin of our voting process.

The Alaskan legislature chose RCV. The rest of us had nothing to do with it. It’s up to them to get rid of it.

Palin’s time has come and gone!
Alaskans I know pretty much tell me that.

Well, my feeling is no Republican is going to win in 2024 because election fraud has not been seriously addressed - so we might as well nominate Trump. At least he will provide the needed entertainment value and can make the fraud as obvious as possible, which might help bring about enough reform to help the 2028 GOP candidate make a serious run.

That's part of it. Plus Biden is now the incumbent. Arizona and Georgia are already blue. We're not even talking about fraud. But Biden may be at 270 already. And he doesn't even have to leave his basement at his house in Delaware to campaign.

Palin was the top candidate. Most well known. That’s who you run with. Ok, so her time JUST MAY have come and gone. Get rid of Rank-choice then what? She’s still top tier unless you go with Kelly Tru-what’s her name? You know the one screwed up by RCV like Sarah.

There’s more. We’re in a decent position to take 3 senate seats in Mt.,Oh., and Wv. Will we drag our feet again? It starts again with top-tier candidates. I don’t see it happening.

Rigged voting saved Murk and took out Palin as designed. That treasonous prick Mitch is to blame.
