The air fryer, taters tots, and french fries were meant for each other. Fast, simple, and delicious.

I have a weakness for mini tater tots. I think they’re better than the larger ones. I don’t eat that sort of thing often, as I really enjoy cooking from scratch most of the time. However, there’s nothing like my husband’s burgers off the smoker and having mini tater tots as a side. Darn good eating!

I remember my first serving with tater tots.
I was in a restaurant for breakfast and when ordering the waitress asked me if I wanted home fries, hash browns or ‘tots’?
I did not know what a ‘tot’ was at that time, 1977 IIRC, so I ordered that just to see what it was...................

I lived in Boise a long time ago. Two women in our circle of friends were administrative assistants at the Ore-Ida HQ nearby.
They would give us handfuls of coupons good for one bag of any frozen product Ore-Ida had in the stores. I ate tater tots all the time....still love them.
Thank you ladies.......

Tater tots covered up with cheese, chili and jalapenos.
Makes for a good meal.

Yeah, that’s about the same time I heard of them, too. They had them at the HS cafeteria. I always brown bagged my lunch, but I had friends who used the school lunches. That was my first exposure to them.

To: Texas resident
Mix with a little onion and some garlic powder and that’s enough for me.
Mayo or tarter sauce on the side.

I’m 78. Had a heart attack at 47, with two incidents of Vfib. The way the world is going these days, I’m gonna eat whatever I want.
