She’s not a hermaphrodite. She is a very unusual case in that she has male chromosomes but a female body. It occurs very rarely. There are articles about her on the Internet.

The Jamie Lee hermaphrodite rumor has been around for about as long as the Richard Gere gerbil rumor. I wonder if either of them have any validity?
