Gorgeous women like that are trouble...always. I’m glad that my gal is a great woman *and* just a bit better looking than average.

After what he’s done for the New England Patriots, he’s hardly likely to starve.

"So he wrecked his marriage for 1 crappy season?"

First thing I thought, also. Great minds....

23 Seasons. 7 Super Bowl Rings. What a career.

Not to mention, as a player you are always one hit away from never being able to walk again.

Brady’s biggest issue is that he has a voice like a little girl.

I agree. I was a life-long NFL fan, watching since around 1971, and lost any real desire when they began kneeling and I saw how fully the NFL was invested in racism.

I still watch it now because it is an excuse to hang out with my best friend, but, it isn’t the same. I don’t really care what happens, and I sure as hell won’t go to any games or buy any merchandise.

We were glad when McCourty retired. Sure, he was a good player for many years, but when he took charge, as Captain, of the disrespect, that was it.

From that point on, we called him “The Kneeler” and everytime he got beat or made a mistake, in our dialogue we found a way to incorporate that into criticism.

Sigh. I miss it. But, on the other hand, it is nice not caring either.

IMO it was the other way around. He retired to save his marriage and quickly realized that it was over, and went back to what he loved doing.

Perhaps the marriage was already “wrecked”, which is why he decided to come back. Nobody knows what really happened.

Yes, so that is probably MORE than he would have gotten as a 45 year old QB. The talk was whether IF somebody would give him $30m for 2 years guaranteed.

Re: "$30 something million as a color commentator"

Brady will quickly wear out his welcome on Live TV.

He lacks emotional energy and originality as a public speaker.

Throwing the football, and talking about football, are two completely different skill sets.

Would have liked to see him sign a one-day contract with New England.

Could be.
Romo was a middle of the road QB, but maybe the best commentator in a long time.

Joe Montana was the best QB ever, until Brady came along. He looked like a deer in the headlights when he was hired as a TV commentator.

I remember Leftwich from my Jax days. Least athletic black man ever, and retarded to boot…

Too bad he wasn’t a kicker.

He could have gone after George Blanda’s record.

Doubt he wrecked his marriage in last years....probably hasn’t been much there for many years. His 1st love is football and being GOAT-adored. She and kids have had a back-seat for many years.

He probably made some commitment to change all that and retire, but by un-retiring made the message clear: I and my football are first.

Wondering how deep and wide a person he can be with his incredible focus for all of these decades.......not saying....I don’t know. Only world he knows is pro football......

Thanks, I meant 30 something million per year.

Ten years for $375 million is probably livable. I wonder if he will pay Giselle child support?

My suspicion is that he watched enough film to realize that he had finally become...a normal quarterback.

Tampa Bay will now return to rebuilding mode until the end of President Harris’s second full term in 2032. (ok, I’m not THAT pessimistic about the presidency, not yet)
