Legendary quarterback Tom Brady says he is retiring "for good" after 23 seasons in the NFL.
Brady, 45, first announced his retirement on this day last year but reversed his decision six weeks later, claiming he had "unfinished business".
He won seven Super Bowls in his career - six with the New England Patriots before his final triumph with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.

Wonder how long this retirement will last?
This could be it. Doesn’t he have a gig lined up at Fox Sports for $30 something million as a color commentator?
My guess is that he was waiting for feelers for teams that interested him, and none wanted a one-year rental for the asking price and terms.
So he wrecked his marriage for 1 crappy season? He should have just retired after winning his last Super Bowl for Tampa. At least he would have gone out on top.
He will un retire after the FTX lawsuits hit.
I think he’s great! But he ruined his family for one additional year of football? Not a smart move.
Smart move, time for the GOAT to move on.
Not surprising. As a former Patriots fan (I stopped watching pro sports when they started kneeling at the National Anthem) I wish that he hadn’t won that last ring. But apart from that watching him was an amazing experience.
Yep he’s got a gig with fox.
Lemme see......sit in a booth on Sunday and do commentary for millions or spend another season watching token affirmative action hire Byron Leftwich F up the offensive scheme.......hmm....decisions decisions 🤔
Not this S&^T again guy needed.
A marriage like that was bound to fail...regardless of any career choices. Two self absorbed celebrities? It can’t work...and never does. Just look at showbiz.
I don’t know.
Even this morning prior to his announcement there was speculation on whether he would end up on the Raiders, 49ers or Dolphins where he could play for one year potentially.
Wise Decision
Probably too late to get Gisele back.
Perhaps the one more year decision was for this very purpose. I have to wonder about any woman who divorces the children’s father because he plays football for another year. I don’t know all the facts, but playing another year of pro football is hardly reason for divorce....at least not in my books.
10 years $375M.
“But he ruined his family for one additional year of football?”
No. She was just looking for a rationale that sounded good in court. Most any other woman in the country would have taken those extra 18 weeks’ inconvenience in stride.
