The Food and Drug Administration on Monday proposed approaching COVID-19 vaccines like the annual flu shot many Americans receive in order to protect against mutations of the virus.
The proposal aims to simplify future vaccination efforts. Under this strategy, most adults and children would get a once-a-year shot to protect against the mutating virus. They would no longer have to keep track of how many shots they’ve received or many months it's been since their last booster.
In documents posted online, FDA scientists say many Americans now have "sufficient preexisting immunity" against the coronavirus because of vaccination, infection, or a combination of the two.
That baseline of protection should be enough, the agency says, to move to an annual booster against the latest strains in circulation and make COVID-19 vaccinations more like the yearly flu shot.
The FDA will also ask its panel to vote on whether all vaccines should target the same strains. That step would be needed to make the shots interchangeable, doing away with the current complicated system of primary vaccinations and boosters.

Isn’t the emergency over? Didn’t Grampa Sniffer say so a while back? If so, then the EUA is over with, and these drugs HAVE to go through the entire, normal, FDA approval process. And if the EUA isn’t suspended yet, WTF not?
Screw these people, they care nothing for the public or our well-being, they care only for their power and money.
I never get the flu shot, so I will also continue my never getting the Covid shot.
Those are not vaccines. They are not safe and effective and they are still producing them under an EUA and no liability for damages (and there are many).
I will never take these crap jabs.

No! Just no! And I have stopped taking the flu shots, too.
And I will continue to ignore their recommendations.
My doc never asks me about shots anymore. And when she wants to prescribe something she knows I will most likely not take it. Hence I rarely ever go to the doctor. I guess I’m fortunate to be rather healthy.
The FDA can propose whatever they like But I have made a decision that that mRNA covid poison will not be injected into my body.
I knew this was coming, it was obvious where they were heading with this. I wont be taking any mRNA vaccines, I will consider them to be a deadly assault against my well being. And yes I will die on that hill if necessary. Now if I had terminal brain cancer and they had an mRNA vaccine that proved helpful against it, well that’s a different story.

The FDA is now political. Just tell the FDA to F off.
I am a clinical pharmacist since 1986, now retired. I trusted the FDA for most of my career. Their actions in the last 3 years has destroyed that trust.
I sometimes work in a rural Hosp.
I was ready to quit...when they said the shots were mandatory.
I got a religious exemption.
Plenty of staff that got the VAXX...thought they were immune...and then got the COVID. One confided in me she thought she was going to die.
IMO the VAX is B.S. Plenty of people think so too....
