Over the past eight years, this man has not been left alone.
A Black Massachusetts man is suing the Worcester Police Department for racial profiling after allegedly pulling him over more than 70 times in just the past eight years, per GBH News. He’s still fighting charges from one of his previous police interactions.
T.J. Juty says he has been suspected of stealing cars and selling drugs before even being apprehended with a warrant. The report says he was pulled over in 2021 for not updating his new car color on his registration. By law, he wasn’t required to, but instead Juty was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer after an intense exchange. Worcester hasn’t implemented a strict body camera policy. Luckily, Juty recorded the stop to present as evidence.
“I feel like every single time, even if I’m not driving, and I make eye contact or an officer sees my dreads or he sees I’m Black, they’re going to come after me. I just know whenever they’re coming now, I just have my phone ready to record,” Juty told GBH.
Massachusetts has long been suspected of discriminating against Black and Hispanic drivers. Just last year, the Department of Justice launched an investigation into claims of excessive force and racially biased policing.
Many of those claims were documented by Joseph Hennessey, Juty’s attorney.

I had a ugly old car that I owned in a wealth area north of Chicago. The paint was fading, there was a lot of rust. But the car was generally working, lights worked the exhaust was not too loud. I got pulled over every two weeks. I got tickets for being 19 feet from a cross walk when the law was twenty feet. The car collected tickets, and I was stopped in my own home town all the time. I sold the car, bought a BMW parked it in the same space, drove it the same and I never got a stopped or got a ticket. I am white. If they show you his car, you will know why he is stopped.
Worchester is a college town, its a small city with four colleges. They stop a lot of people.
My lily white cousin was constantly being stopped by a white cop in our local lily white town 60 years ago!
He always felt the cops were out to “get” him.
“ Doesn’t it depend on whether the “victim” violated the law 70 times?”
Or what if he didn’t ?
Back in the 90’s we used to get 3 - 40oz Olde English 800 beers, get drunk off that and some shots of Jack, while watching Tombstone...youth.
time for a beer summit ...
“Martha’s Vineyard is not racist .”
That’s right. Just the people. And xenophobic
Great times...I think!
Schlitz Malt Liquor, Ripple wine, OMG the hangovers!
Don’t forget MD 20/20.
We once played the “Menace II Society” game.
Every time someone says the N word, you take a shot of beer. (1.5 oz)
They say it so many times that the volume of beer is so high, all
three of us were vomiting outside the house…
This lady did utterly NOTHING and the cops stopped her anyway.

You might want to watch this for the surprise ending!
In Florida, there is a special class for LEO and govt officials. They claim to be protecting them, but in the end these ‘special’ provisions deny the public from tax information that is public on EVERYONE ELSE. I wouldn’t be surprised if SHE has some special class exempting her from records and siclosure, the rest of us have to be part of.
You did not answer the question.
Answer the question.
So your response puts you on a par with the mentality of the WPD.
Oh yeah, Mad Dog 20-20, makes my head hurt thinking about it!
The only sensible solution would be to cancel the guy’s driver’s permit...
“ You did not answer the question.”
That’s the point.
There isn’t enough information for any of us to answer any questions.
But that’s a bunch of times to get pulled over.
1) If he isn’t doing anything wrong, that’s a travesty that feeds into the “black people get picked on by the police”
2)or, The guy is a known troublemaker who the cops are keeping tabs on
Again we don’t know either of these two scenarios.
Body cameras must be made mandatory for all uniformed officers and for all warrant service.
Every get run over by the Night Train?
If a person consistently breaks the law, he will be pulled over more often than one who consistently obeys the law.
The “question” is, “Does the color of the first person’s skin allow him to break the law that a differently colored person must observe?”
“ If a person consistently breaks the law, he will be pulled over more often than one who consistently obeys the law.”
That’s the way it should be and most often is.
But we all know stories where people have been hassled.
Again we don’t know the real story here
