Disturbing footage posted online documents the moment an Ohio cop punches a woman multiple times in her face as she is being detained.
The video, which was originally posted Tuesday night by Dayton 24/7 Now, shows a Butler Township police officer pummeling Latinka Hancock on January 16 and apparently putting her in a chokehold.
Hancock was reportedly sent to the hospital in the aftermath, where she was diagnosed with a head injury.
The incident apparently came after Hancock got into a heated argument with McDonald's employees because she ordered a Big Mac with extra cheese but was handed a regular Big Mac.
Authorities released body camera footage showing Hancock apparently cooperating with authorities before they punched her.
The department will now continue to investigate the police officer's actions, who is now on administrative leave as her attorneys call for him to be fired.
A one-minute video of the altercation shows cops dragging Hancock by her arms as she tries to wrestle herself free.
She then appears to get into an argument with the officers at the scene, waving her hand around as she speaks to them.

The video appears conveniently edited so that the actions of the woman prior to being hit are not seen.
Given the charge of (physically) resisting arrest, getting punched three times should be considered as an alternative to getting tazed.
Of course, if the races were reversed, this event would not be in the news.
These were Township Police. Often they have little or no screening or training.
Assuming that his actions were unjustified it’s not just his career is over. The woman in question has also just won the lottery!
Having watched Detective Jim Smythe interrogate Colonel Russell Williams I have a good idea how Canadian cops operate.As he was playing “good cop” he offered Williams coffee with cream and sugar. When he went “bad cop” he told Williams that there was no more sugar.
She can expect it. One should never argue with the police
This woman did go inside that establishment. Usually when there is a brawl or incident, the video cameras inside are available to show what happened. I wonder why we aren’t seeing that footage?
This story is missing too much. Also missing is any comment from McDonalds or the people working there that day.

Yep. If the detainee were armed, then all bets are off. But this woman was unarmed. And her offense was, at most, a misdemeanor. As it appears now, the only felon in this situation is the cop.

The officer on the right appears to try to hold her arm and shoulder down before he starts brutally pummeling Hancock in the face at least four times until she falls forward on the hood of a police cruiser.”
Maybe he was trying to knock some sense into her?
This cop is going to be a very lonely man once Obama and Holder send their goon squad out to Dayton Ohio. The cop will have to move to another state and change his identity. He is a dead man walking.

We are seeing only a very small portion of what lead up to this.
If this person didn’t speak english and looked like an illegal they would have left them alone.
And when all the dust has settled you go to a lawyer and tell him "this is what happened,if you win the case you can have half of what I'm awarded". If he accepts your offer you know you've got a good chance. If he doesn't accept you know you've got nothing.
Good approach
Our cops must need better training, because I support them when they restrain or even taze (not to excess) a violent or hysterical person, but punching someone in the face—someone unarmed, when you’re two against one—is purely a rage reaction.

That’s good advice. But it must be balanced out by the fact that cops are trained professionals while the average citizen is not. So a startled citizen will often react inappropriately, at least at first.
Too many cops simply will not take that into account. It’s a fine line, I know. A cop that is too relaxed can lose control of the situation. So that’s where the professional training must kick in.
On the flip side - if your order comes to you wrong, just ask fro a new order that is waht you paid for.
