I've lived a very,very boring life. As is true with most guys who've lived that kind of life the only contact I've ever had with cops is one moving violation ticket (which I successfully fought in court). But my attitude toward cops is that you obey their instructions regardless of how unfair...or illegal...you might think they are.

And when all the dust has settled you go to a lawyer and tell him "this is what happened,if you win the case you can have half of what I'm awarded". If he accepts your offer you know you've got a good chance. If he doesn't accept you know you've got nothing.
