Rep. Maria Salazar (R-FL) lectured Americans while in Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting, urging them to accept amnesty for the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens.
During a panel discussion alongside Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), and others, Salazar said some form of amnesty is necessary for illegal aliens living across the United States.
She said:
We need to also give dignity to those people who are in the country and those are the people that I represent. We’re talking about 13 to 15 million people — who are, most of them, Hispanics, I would say 85 percent who speak my language, look like me, and sound like me — who are contributing to the economy of this country and they live in the shadows.

They’ve been saying 12 million for over 20 years at this point because if people realized it was 40-60 million people would become upset that almost a fifth of the population doesn’t belong here.

You’re right! And Gov. DeSantis endorsed her. That just proves candidates lie like heck to get an endorsement and then change their spots after they are elected due of that endorsement. It’s happened to President Trump on numerous occasions.
The number of representatives is determined by the census, and that counts the number or residents, NOT the number of legal citizens.
So,she is right that “those are the people I represent”.

There was a one-time amnesty in during the Reagan era.
Solemn promises were given by both Democrats and Republicans to the American people that no further such amnesty would be given.
Those promises need to be kept.
Millions of invaders have the skills to rebuild their homelands and they need to do so.
And all felons are owed bags of bank money. Don’t do drugs.
It was 11 million in the early 70 and the felonious border jumpers haven’t slowed down.

2. Are you willing to find the costs associated with illegal immigration and refugee resettlement?
If you check Yes, to #1 then at the end of the year any costs associated with illegal immigration/refugee resettlement is divided equally with Democrato voters.
If you check Yes, to #2 then you also pay your share at the end of the year.
If you check NO to both, then you pay NOTHING.
If companies need to hire these workers, fine. Let them. Each one is documented and a portion of their pay goes to Social Security and Workman’s Comp.
Let the people who want them pay for them.
Let the people who profit from them pay for them.

If illegals were excluded from apportionment a bunch of states would suddenly lose about 20% of their House seats.
