I’m 74 and take no meds. Only vitamins. My VA doctor thinks this is weird. So many people my age are on tons of pills. And get sick regularly. Me, never.

Just turned 73 a few weeks ago, and last BP at Dr’s app’t, was 125/70. BP not a problem anymore, now that I’ve mostly stopped grinding sea salt.

My favorite “food groups” — fat, grease, salt & sugar — have drastically changed... Heh.

Agreed. I would have a similar list if I didn't closely question my cardiologist. We have compromised on just a few since he installed my resynchronization pacemaker.

Entresto 49/51mg

Farxiga 10mg

Spirolactone 25mg

Carvedilol 12.5mg

I have no cholesterol issues, artery stenosis, blockages risks, or vascular insufficiency. I only had a valve timing problem which the resynchronization pacemaker fixed. I went from 23% ejection fraction to 43% after the pacemaker, which is in the normal healthy range. My enlarged heart due to bad valve timing has now returned to normal.

Eat good food. Drink good wine and beer. Keep good company. Walk your dog a lot. No OTC products. No vitamin supplements. No worries about being validated by anyone else, except by my pets.
