It looks like we are headed toward having “The Best Healthcare System in the World”. Just like Cuba.

you’d have to be nuts to go into any frontline healthcare position today..........

accidentally miss the vein and your career could be over at best or be sharing a cell with the Idaho killer at worst

There is nothing more expensive then something “free” from the government.

Automation. Have the equivalent of a robot dog hold you down, take your blood and change your sheets.

A care service that is provided by others cannot be a “right”.

The whole concept of positive “rights” is flawed and evil. If I have a right to something like healthcare, then someone has an obligation to provide it. healthcare isn't free. it takes doctors who spent years in training. Things like MRI machines are extremely expensive. Hospitals have physical plants and employees. Should hospital employees work for free? Are the companies who make medical machines supposed to give them away for free. Are doctors who spend years of their lives as virtual slaves (in residency) supposed to just work for free. Further doctors and nurses are exposed to contagious diseases as a part of their job. Are they supposed to just do it for the fun of it? The entire concept of health care as a right is flawed. Health care is a commodity and to say it's a right shows a profound and deliberate ignorance that if allowed to unchallenged will destroy health care.

The Hill reports that 1 in 4 Gen Z’ers “Plan to become social media influencers.”

LOL. Well, good for them. But not every plan survives contact with reality.

How many ghetto basketball players want to play for the NBA?

More than simply the critical nursing shortage, this article is a prescient commentary on the future of our society in general. The Millenials, along with Gen Z, have been so ridiculously codled since birth that they are now incapable of handling any adversity. They are emotionally very fragile and physically weak. All their lives they have been told their special and have been shielded from any possible ill wind that they now cannot cope with ordinary life and are acting out their mental handicap.

Tragically, many societal institutions are reinforcing the problem as noted in the art3. Universities demand safe spaces. Big tech censors any who disagree with their warped world view. Major corporations now reflect, especially in advertising, this distorted world view, and of course politicians forever seem to pander to the weirdos and the fringes in our society. Throw in the millions of illegal immigrants and it’s hard to imagine where this will all end up.

The federal government provides over $1 trillion used to pay for health care.

There is not a right to health care, but only a right to money to buy health care from willing sellers of health care services and ancillary products.

Why is healthcare deemed a human right.

While healthcare is a human necessity, many forgo living long for disregarding the nuisance of healthy living

If Healthcare is a Human Right, Will the Younger Generation Provide It?

Absolutely! As long as it is provided with "fairness" and "equity", which obviously would include mandatory euthanasia for racists, homophobes, ultra-magas, and anyone else listed on Federal Schedule 3a (or maybe 3b)...

( \sarc ;^)

The Left frequently proclaims that “Healthcare is a Human Right!”

Unless you're a baby who survives the initial abortion attempt in a Democratic state.

A coplete privatization of public heapth care is in order.

Thats whats happening in Canada to provide health care in Ontario and New Brunswick where medicare is now supplemented by private clinics paid for by the government. Surgery too. Its the only way to get the necessary services.Socialism is being abandoned.

And the socialist left are caterwauling like they are having surgery without anesthesia, doctors should not be able to make big money , you see.....

A friend of mine was in the hospital last week for a medical procedure.

Here are his observations regarding his short stay.

1. Most of the nursing staff were young—in their 20’s and early 30’s’.

2. The nursing staff seemed to spend too much time looking at their smartphones.

3. There were no older nurses. He concluded that the older nurses had retired because they did not want to take the covid vaxx jab.

4. The nursing staff seemed to have a level of indifference regarding the care of patients in the pre-op room.

So regarding this author’s commentary, I would agree the younger medical staff will have less compassion.

Healthcare isn’t a right. It is a service provided to one by another. To claim it is a right implies the enslavement of the provider.

The to biggest problems with our healthcare systems are (a) exorbitantly expensive and (b) too many healthcare dollars are going to people that are not paying for it through insurance, taxes or their own dollars.

The Left frequently proclaims that “Healthcare is a Human Right!”

That is a false right.
There is no right to manmade goods and services.
There is no right to enslave doctors.
