The whole concept of positive “rights” is flawed and evil. If I have a right to something like healthcare, then someone has an obligation to provide it. healthcare isn't free. it takes doctors who spent years in training. Things like MRI machines are extremely expensive. Hospitals have physical plants and employees. Should hospital employees work for free? Are the companies who make medical machines supposed to give them away for free. Are doctors who spend years of their lives as virtual slaves (in residency) supposed to just work for free. Further doctors and nurses are exposed to contagious diseases as a part of their job. Are they supposed to just do it for the fun of it? The entire concept of health care as a right is flawed. Health care is a commodity and to say it's a right shows a profound and deliberate ignorance that if allowed to unchallenged will destroy health care.

Yes, one person’s rights are another person’s obligations. Politicians never say who is going to have to pay to give one person his “rights.”
