I maintain that if Chevy would re-cast the ‘67 Vette with all the modern technology they would fly off the lots like crazy. Today’s Vettes do nothing for me.

A base model 327 Corvette did 0-60 in about 7 seconds.
Its not fast by 2022 Honda Accord standards.
My 2018 Cherokee Trailhawk (V-6) does about the same. Plus it will go a lot of places neither a '67 Vette or a '22 Accord would ever dream of going.

Agree, I had a white 76 vette in 76, with ‘t’ tops. It was a nice-looking car.
That's what Ford did with the Mustang. Not exactly the same, I'm not sure with modern CAFE and safety regs they even could make it the same, probably not. So they went with heavily inspired by. That plan worked great. 
They they decided to turn it into an EV. I saw on on the road the other day, in person it's looks more like a crossover than a pony car. Not sure what the sales of that are and it might be a great vehicle, I don't know. But is it really a mustang or is it an EV they stuck a logo on to boost sales? Looks like the latter, maybe it drives like the former though.
