Years ago I had a kidney stone and ended up in the emergency room. I told them I couldn't tolerate opiates, so they gave me an IV, and sent me home with a bottle of pills to take for the next few days. The relief of pain was immediate, and as long as I took the pills, I was fine. There was no high associated with it at all, and I just drove home.
They told me it was some kind of super-tylanol. I can't remember the name of it.
I am going in for a minor procedure, and would like to ask them to use that.
Does anyone know what that was?
Possibly Tylenol 3 with codeine.
No, no codeine.
Tramadol?
tramadol?
Possibly Tylenol 3 with codeine.

I believe codeine is an opiate derivative or whatever.
It was probably just a mega dose of acitominaphen. That’s my guess anyway.
I once told my dentist that I didn’t like how codeine made me feel, not allergic, but he gave me a 1000mg dose of ibuprofen. I had to laugh. Why can I just take 5 of the regular pills?
can you describe the pill?.................
Wild turkey 191
Percogesic ?
Years ago I had stones 2 weeks after moving to a new state for a job. Family was still back home and I didn’t really know anyone.
I drive myself to the ER. They gave me something that was awesome.
They asked who was driving me home and I said Me.
They said “Do you have any idea what we just gave you?”
“Nope, but I’m driving home.”
They gave me my paperwork and told me to sit in the chair for four hours.
I thanked them and headed toward the door.
If it’s related to Tylenol, be careful of what it can do to your liver.
I just picked up a bottle of Advil Dual Action pills...acetaminophen 250 mg, ibuprofen 125 mg. Use no more than 6 caplets in 24 hours. Waiting for bad back pain to see if they work.
If he can’t tolerate opiates, wouldn’t be able to use T-3.
Gabapentin is the new normal. Not worth a hoot to most, HIGHLY Addictive, lots of bad side effects. Prisons use it for injured, most stolen too, as they cook it into something else.
It’s what they pushed Intractable Pain Patients on. Weight gain was a big issue for many.
Maybe they actually gave you “super tylenol”.
They can give you a high prescription dose short term, but you can have liver problems if you stay on a high dose of acetaminophen long term
yep, thats my thought too
That made you eligible for a DUI
I don’t really remember the pill. I remember looking it up at the time, and that how it’s administered, at least for that, IV and then pills.
Didn’t care at that point.
‘If it’s related to Tylenol, be careful of what it can do to your liver.’
Tylenol should be taken off the market—especially for kids. It is a VERY dangerous med and can destroy your liver.
The tramadol worked great for me and I’m pretty sure it’s non-narcotic.. d:^)
