Ordinary people have extraordinary power. Don't believe me? Watch what happens if tens of millions ever decide to close their bank accounts all at once. Or critical sectors of the workforce decide to stay home for weeks. Or a sizable percentage of the population refuses to obey arbitrary and capricious government orders. When citizens become fed up enough to take matters into their own hands, those with government-bestowed titles learn quickly how little power those vaunted titles actually have.

If you were to ask a collection of random people what governments do, you would hear a multitude of answers: they make and enforce laws, collect taxes, regulate industry, police citizens, and mobilize militaries. In actuality, what governments do, first and foremost, is prevent citizens from ever understanding the above paragraph. Their first order of business is to convince the vast majority of people not in positions of authority to obey the cumulative will of the small minority in charge of the government. For most of human history, this magic act, in which so few control so many, has been accomplished through intimidation, violence, and other forms of coercion.

"Nothing is so certain as death and taxes," the old proverb goes, but it might just as accurately be said of almost all governments throughout history that those in charge will extract from those under their thumb either death or taxes — and often both. Force is the only language most governments know, although that force is often disguised as being performed for the people's "own good." As it turns out, force is generally sufficient for corralling humans into their government-controlled pens, especially if there are carrots or other treats inside to keep them content, if not particularly happy. When those pens have nothing attractive to offer and become overrun with filth,

Communists seem fascinated in the use of force against their own citizens.

In today’s America, the unequal are more equal.

Kissing Black Ass to promote the delusion of equality is existentially necessary for the existence of the Democrat party

Why is “Colonialism”—an action/endeavor/practice—included in a list of murderous countries? Isn’t that an apples-and-oranges comparison?

And how do we know that “colonialism” resulted in the deaths of 50 million people?

Colonial administrations general ran on very little money.

When colonialism became expensive (Palestine), towels started getting tossed.

One needs to start small: freedom closures on one day a month. Then go to two days a month after say three.

Italian sindacatos (labor unions) love scioperi: one-day strikes. The messages get out but the paychecks still flow out.

When citizens become fed up enough to take matters into their own hands

The only answer. Right there. None of that ammo box nonsense, no calls for sheep to transform themselves into brave and powerful men. No violence is necessary. If tens of millions of productive taxpayers would exercise their First Amendment rights while they still have the chance, if they'd agree to concentrate their economic powers like coherent light in a laser, quit enabling a "capricious" government, that government would capitulate in a matter of weeks. The powers of the government are derived from the people. The people authorize it with their efforts, their wealth. Withdraw efforts and wealth and the government's power vanishes.

You have no vote in Congress, but you have one right outside it. A voting bloc is all that is needed.

But the productive few (and they ARE few) are soft and comfortable, and don't wish to be inconvenienced. So heads stay rooted in the sand, and the American miracle continues to rot.

Lies, damned lies and statistics.
How about government forced and/or funded surgical abortions?
Or chemical abortions, vis a vis the so called contraceptive pill that in reality allows conception (life is conceived) but prevents implantation? It’s in the tens of millions. Murder by any other name smells just as rotten.

It’s not just communists, it’s pretty much governments everywhere.

To expand slightly on the article’s theme, read my tagline and think about how blacks trapped in inner city ‘hoods are becoming less and less satisfied in their lot in life. And instead of identifying their true oppressors, (the ones who lured them there), they are told by the DemocRat Party that it is the white people around them who are to blame. A few reject the premise, like Candace Owen and Colion Noir and the Hodge twins. But too many are burdened by decades of poor education and conditioning to accept the BS in CRT.

Thx for posting this excellent article!!!

As the article asks:

What happens, though, if enough Americans decide they are not safe, comfortable, or happy? What happens when the American government runs out of carrots, and those in cages realize they are surrounded by nothing but filth and decay?

What happens is that people start by packing stadiums and auditoriums in MAGA rallies.

The government and the Marxists who are in the process of taking over the country are well aware that what is happening in these MAGA rallies is going to lead to trouble for them personally and their plans for the destruction of our freedoms.

They know that soon we will be coming for them.

The Marxists in America were shocked and dismayed when they realized that the success of capitalism ruined their plans for class warfare. They were going to lead a Marxist revolution wherein the poor, downtrodden working classes waged war against the property-owning upper classes.

The result would be a "Worker's Paradise."

What capitalism did--dammit--was share the wealth with these workers and move them up into a new middle class (and above). When workers have nice homes, new cars and trucks, RV's, investment portfolios, and, sometimes, even their own companies, they aren't the least bit interested in revolution.

So what did the Marxists do?

They identified a new victimized underclass. All they had to do was convince the members of this new group that they were aggrieved and abused.

That's when the Marxist's stumbled upon CRT.

The wonderful thing about CRT is that is it capable of being expanded to include all "minorities" who feel victimized...like homosexuals, delicate college students, gender-confused people, arch-feminists...the self-identified Woke.

But you can reach the top of your profession
If you become the leader of the land
For murder is the sport of the elected
And you don't need to lift a finger of your hand

Because it's murder by numbers, one, two, three
It's as easy to learn as your ABC's
Murder by numbers, one, two, three
It's as easy to learn as your A, B, C, D, E

I don’t disagree with your thoughts except on one point....... tense

You say “were”

My thought is “are” or “is”

The Black President Barack Obama intensified the class warfare that grew and grew. The Trump campaign said they would get 34% of the Black vote. That announcement along with the criminal resisting arrest death of a Black junkie precipitated all hell breaking lose. A result was Black Lives Matter, a crude and purely racist class warfare gambit

The very existence of the Democrat party was at stake. The Black vote was or is existentially absolutely necessary.

All across America the Kissing of Black Ass continues, perhaps even intensified. Thye class warfare is still in progress and intensified within the City States.

America is in peril
