I saw that. It’s gone down hill from there. Rogers has been picked off 3 times now.
Then his teammate chested up on the trainer. Should have kicked him out too.
Thug behavior.
It’s all about the health of the players... Oh... And Rogers just had a another stellar year... Ending it before the playoffs, instead of his usual exit during the playoffs... Thanks for that Aaron.
.
Walker is the first player to be ejected twice in a season since Tyji Armstrong (1994 Bucs)
AND MY HAWKS GO TO THE PLAYOFFS BABY! I’m amazed we made it this far.
71 years old I watched Super Bowl 1 , that penalty and ejection was absolutely the dumbest effing thing I’ve ever seen. Lombardi would have been cuffed and hauled off after choking the player to death on the sideline. Pitiful.
NFL...NBA... Organizations of millionaire thugs, criminals, and drug addicts...
It’s really quite unfortunate that players that purposely put hands on someone that has nothing to do with the game, but is done as a violent act, be permanently fired. They don’t collect the rest of their pay, the cannot play for another team, and they are permanently finished in pro football. It would be in their contract. Nothing short of this & it’s the same: suspended for a game or two, fined, an insincere apology. Make them a footnote in football. Punks don’t care about fines or a suspension. Make it career ending. I hope the trainer sues his butt.
I saw the game and he did it twice, back to back to two different people; wonder what’s going to happen to him.
Brand New Lions, Baby!
He should be happy that he didn’t have to stick around for the truly sad performance of the Packers.
Make way for duh kang
You boys must not have watched either the 1992 body bag game between the Redskins and Eagles or the 1985 game between the Raiders and the Bears.
With todays rules, nearly every single starter would have been ejected from those two games.
The Bears-Raiders game they seemed to be actually trying to KILL each other.
minor incident and the trainer had elbowed him away first.
Watching the video at the Twitter link, at time:
0.01 Lions training staff member uses his left arm to push Packers’ Quay Walker (7) away.
0.02 Quay Walker (7), backing away, uses both of his [Walker’s] arms, to shove that same Lions training staff member in the back.
0.05 Packers’ Devonte Wyatt (95) witnessed the Lions training staff member’s push against Walker (7), and Wyatt (95) addresses the Lions staff training member. Wyatt (7) also shoulder-pad-bumps Lions’ Brock Wright (89) to their (Wyatt’s (7) and Wright’s (89)) right.
Would have been nice, for the judge asking all involved, to remove hats, helmets, and gloves - and shake hands.
Unfortunately, Walker (7) over-reacted.
Whole thing was started by a late hit, forearm to the face of a player who was already down. That Green Bay player should have been ejected too.
you know, the trainer came up from behind and pushed the player first.....
