He’s a good actor, but built like a 12 year old.

I haven’t seen a Bond movie since the 1980s.

“ I haven’t seen a Bond movie since the 1980s.”

And it was played out even then.

I was really hoping for either Alec Baldwin or Will Smith. Even better, a death cage match to determine the winner.

I would assume they go the Dr.Who route, get some broad or other minority/ double minority (most check marks in that catagory) then KILL it off because stoic masculinity is evil/~s

I would love to see a new Bond series start in the mid-1950s and work its way up to the “Swingin’ ‘60s,” as Fleming’s books did. Setting the series in that period would be a bonanza for creative writing, production design, photography, costuming, you name it. The actors would probably love playing in a “period piece” as well. It would be fun to see the development and return of some of Q’s gadgets (Little Nellie, anyone? The original Aston Martin DB5?), and the evolution of continuing characters like M and Moneypenny. The occasional cameo appearance of a young Queen Elizabeth and / or Prince Phillip would be, as they say, smashing. If handled well, with good stories and kinetic action, I think audiences would really flock to something like this.

I’d love to see them do a real remake of The Wild Wild West. Nor like the Will Smith quazi science fiction movie that was awful, but like the old TV series. An 1880’s old west detective/secret agent drama.

There was an excellent PBS miniseries on Sydney Reilly many years ago. Starring Sam Neill I think. Well worth watching.

I had forgotten about her.
I don’t think her name ever registered with me.
I don’t remember much from the 1967 Casino Royal other then I thought David Niven was a terrible Bond and Ursula Andress’s tits!

Theo only Bond girl names I remember are Honey Ryder & Pussy Galore for obvious reason!
