Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was captured on the House floor late Friday holding up her cell phone with former President Donald Trump on the line.
After the House Republicans' failed 14th vote to elect GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy to the speakership, Greene tried getting Rep. Matt Rosendale to speak with the former president.
'It was the perfect phone call,' Greene tweeted, sharing Bloomberg's photo of the moment, where Trump's initials 'DT' were clearly seen on her iPhone screen.
Rosendale, a Republican from Montana, had yelled out the name of Rep. Andy Biggs during the 14th round of voting.

I appreciate the warning. As I said on another thread, we should not count the eggs have not yet hatched. But, I think the party is ready to come together, and actually agree this exercise was best for everyone, and at least pass the new rules on Monday. After that, all bets are off, but if we can just get that, for now, it could be huge. But as I said as my last comment you were responding to, we should not let our guard down. Thanks again.

Fully agree. I just would bet a paycheck “coming together” means back to the McConnell/McCarthy agenda. The thing I am seeing is the leadership simply does not believe in MAGA, and works against it.
Nothing will change. I see the main utility of this GOP House as a placeholder, simply preventing Pelosi from doing more damage.

I worry about that, too. Maybe they are aware of that. Maybe they figure that facilitating important changes for the good of the country is more important than they are personally.
Trump, the non-politician, seemingly has not mastered the understanding of the development in both the Dems and Repubs that has resulted in True MAGAS opposed with heart and soul to the corporate globalists in both parties. The globalists are hell bent on the destruction of individual countrie’s sovereignty. They are intent so on controlling every individual and their money, health care, living conditions, life and death.
I do not believe there are many who do not know this now. Why then does Trump like he does not know this? McCarthy is a MAGA opponent and a globalist on steroids.why suuport him President Trump?
Exactly. There's not much a lone HoR can really do on its own, other than upset the budget applecart, which is exactly what these proposed changes target. All those hearings, with Gowdy, Nunes, Chavez, never actually amounted to anything. They should mainly focus to gridlock government, and block spending, but we'll see if they do, or it's more dog and pony shows.

That’s why we’re the stupid party. They had months to recruit, vet, and groom a viable alternative. But they didn’t.
