I appreciate the warning. As I said on another thread, we should not count the eggs have not yet hatched. But, I think the party is ready to come together, and actually agree this exercise was best for everyone, and at least pass the new rules on Monday. After that, all bets are off, but if we can just get that, for now, it could be huge. But as I said as my last comment you were responding to, we should not let our guard down. Thanks again.
Fully agree. I just would bet a paycheck “coming together” means back to the McConnell/McCarthy agenda. The thing I am seeing is the leadership simply does not believe in MAGA, and works against it.
Nothing will change. I see the main utility of this GOP House as a placeholder, simply preventing Pelosi from doing more damage.
The old ratchet concept. They advance, we do nothing for a while, then they tighten more. Nothing ever ratchets backwards. Hope I’m wrong. But our new leader took money from FTX Bankman to work against conservatives.
