On Friday's Morning Joe, Scarborough said "I'd die before continuing to negotiate against myself" like Kevin McCarthy is doing. Scarborough alluded to McCarthy as "the snowflake, triggered, weak variety of Republicans that appear to be roaming Capitol Hill today."

The table-pounding Muy Macho Joe said that instead of negotiating, he would "stare down" the holdout Republicans.

They changed the rules, and hopefully these changes will allow Congress to work in a way that it hasn’t in a long time. I think this will probably spell the end of the huge omnibus bills, and instead we will probably have more single issue bills. We’ll see if that works, because what we had been doing wasn’t working.

I doubt if the Rules will pass the vote. He probably worked that deal — for them to fail — before negotiating an Agreement. That way, he gets everything. He gets to be Speaker, and he won’t have to deal with any stinkin’ Rules.
