I have a feeling a whole lot is going on behind the scenes. I think this whole thing is really about negotiating conditions for the House as a whole moving forward and about how a Speaker can be removed if needed. Those rules will be codified so it will apply to either party in the future.
I think we’re watching a movie. The Democrats are freaking out about this and that’s exactly what we want them to do. Look over there while we do business over here.
