You have been contributing on this forum far longer than I have, Laz.
I enjoy your wit and wisdom, as I’m sure others do. I think you can be assured that you have friends numbering well into the thousands, people who would have your back in an instant if you needed it.
Consider Harry and Megan- she got under his skin and weaseled her way into the Royal Family, at least for a while. Now he’s turned against his own family just to please her, and I think it’s cost him dearly, he’s just to stupid to see it.
It sounds like that’s what’s happened to your friend.
You and he were friends for 40 years.
I’ll betcha anything their “friendship” won’t last anywhere near that.
