No. Not Jim Jordan either. More controlled opposition. Jordan is a cross between Trey Gowdy and Darrell Issa. Big Tech puppet.

I know that MTG has, in recent months, said things that are good and right. However, as a Messianic Christian who loves Israel and all RIGHT-THINKING Jews, I keep remembering something she said a few years ago. Something about ‘Jewish space lasers’ causing California wildfires?

Am I remembering wrong?

I would have preferred that we had the Senate so Republicans could block any more far left-wing extremist presidential nominees, but having the House is better than the past two years of complete democrat control. With just the House, Republicans can perform genuine oversight of the Brandon regime and block any more socialist laws from being passed. Even if we had both houses of Congress, Brandon could veto anything substantive that passed.

Am I remembering wrong /\ I have no idea. But being so close to the camp fire, and having watched multiple fire fighter interviews on local news , and having been a wildfire fighter my self for 6 years there were things that were highly suspect with this fire. Rumors locally of firefighters seeing beams of green coherent light were floating around. Metal power towers being slagged by wood fueled fire is physically impossible yet it happened. I have screen shots of infrared satellite pics used for spotting hot spots that showed grid patterns to "random" hot spots from middle of night from multiple nights 20200927-182711 20200929-042515 20201001-063538 20200929-041803 Multiple firefighter reports of fire truck windows being blown out from heat Multiple firefighter reports of never seen before fire behavior. But you may be right, space based lasers aren't possible. Maybe we didn't land on the moon either ? Maybe MTG actually knows some of our firefighters around here. But space lasers are irrelevant to this speaker fight,,, other than to try and smear MTG. I may be wrong about MTG. I still support her.

After listening to MTG on War Room, I am finding out more & more that those saying they are fighting for us, are in reality fighting for themselves. So, I now support Kevin McCarthy. Without a Republican Speaker we have absolutely nothing.

I am even beginning to question Steve Bannon, to be honest.

“I admit I am not in the know as to Kevin McCarthy’s positions and past voting record.”

McCarthy is a moderate squish whose voting record has lurched hard-leftward since his second term in office — and, not coincidentally, since he has moved into the GOP “leadership”. There’s no room for actual conservatives in the leadership unless they mostly toe the line and keep their mouths shut.

McCarthy doesn’t even pretend to be conservative anymore, though once upon a time he did.

It’s not ALL about voting record though — it’s about having the appropriate attitude. Democrats in powerful positions NEVER become soft and wimpy; they go full steam ahead and don’t give a damn how much Republicans whine.

Republicans (mostly) don’t even get into powerful positions UNLESS they are soft and wimpy and quickly cave on their so-called principles every time a Democrat calls them a racist.

I realize there’s a big difference between leading a party which has full 24/7 support from the tribe of media controllers; and leading a party which is on the receiving end of full 24/7 lies and hatred from that same tribe.

It’s not an easy task to be a Republican leader under those conditions, which is precisely why we need someone with as much backbone as possible, and not some timid coward (or thoroughly corrupt Uniparty-ist) like Boehner, Ryan or McCarthy.

I live in Steve Scalises district. When he became House Minority Whip my husband thought that was a good thing. I told him now we have lost our representation In Congress because now he has to Whip the votes that McCarthy wants and not what his constituents want.

The next two years the only hope we have is for nothing to get done, perhaps we can stop spending money. I go for that, but for anybody that thinks the house is gonna be able to get any of their bills through is not thinking clearly.

Frankly, if nothing else he has to be voted down so as to to reward him for being a charter member of the swamp.

After that, other than perhaps holding a few investagatory committees, I really wouldn't give a damn if they shut the rest of the government down and went on vacation for the rest of their terms.

I'm quite sure we already have enough laws, and that we'll all survive a couple of years without new ones. They'd be doing enough by passing budgets that trim 10% from every single governmental department, bar none. Nothing else really needs to be done until we can have legitimate elections again, not that I figure we'll ever see that.

Marjorie Taylor Greene (Dist-14 GA)

This person has been an extreme disappointment since November. Does she smell the graft coming her way?

You mean like we did for 2 years when Trump was President?

Exactly. It is perpetually on hold as long as the graft keeps raining down!
