CINCINNATI -- Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was taken off the field in an ambulance after receiving treatment on the field for over 10 minutes, which resulted in the game between the Buffalo Bills and- Cincinnati Bengals being suspended until further notice Monday night.

None of the 10 announcers or commentators during the game mentioned anything about the hit being particularly via viscous or brutal. Instead they all said they had never seen anything like this before.

As I recall, there was a witness in Derek Chauvin’s trial who claimed that, simply by looking at the video, he could tell exactly how much pressure was being applied to George Floyd’s neck - to two decimal places.
I don’t believe that for one minute, not that extreme degree of accuracy. Nevertheless, it would be interesting if he would estimate the amount of force to Hamlin’s chest in this case.
There have been hundreds of NFL games, thousands of college football games, and tens of thousands of high school football games played in 2022. Most if not all the NFL and college players were subject to the COVID injections. One severe incident does not provevthat the jabs are deadly, any more than the severe snow storm that hit Buffalo last week was caused by climate change.
I am not any kind of medical professional. But if I had to guess, it would be Marfan’s syndrome, which, iirc, is a genetic weakening of the artery walls. Other athletes in the past have died rather quickly and unexpectedly from it, eg, Hank Gathers, Flo Hyman.

Admit it, YOU DON’T KNOW. None of us do. You’re guessing, but refuse to consider all possibilities, one of which is that this is yet another in a recent string of people suddenly collapsing. If it was a simple and clear-cut as you claim it would happen all the time in the NFL.

Marfan’s syndrome is a genetic weakening of connective tissues in general. It can be readily detected in eye exams.

The NFL never stated the game would start after a 5 minute warmup, as ESPN reported on-air. They should apologize.
I checked to see what ESPN has posted about this, and they left out addressing how they came to make their on-air statement about a 5 minute warmup. ESPN simply deflected to the statement that NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent made in the media conference call that happened later: “Vincent said that there was not a discussion between him and commissioner Roger Goodell about a five-minute period for players to get warmed up and that resuming play did not cross their minds.”

Pattern recognition is important as one of your fellow travelers states. This has been a rare issue as long as people have been throwing balls at each other as in baseball and lacrosse. Even in youth ball there are AEDs on every sideline.
Every physician on the news is saying exactly what I said last night. For those of us who are trained this was clear cut. So yes, I do know as does the rest of professional clinicians.
I am sorry you reject knowledge and expertise. You simply do not know what you are talking about. Listen to what all experts are saying. It is you had to advance an agenda. Find one thing I have said wrong about the diagnosis which as the day goes on is being confirmed. And I have first hand info. We have high definition slow motion video of the event. It doesn’t get much better than that.
I think I know the kid you are referring to. The same thing happened to a friend’s son and if it’s the same one, they managed to get his heart started again and he’s fine today.

Saw Tony Dungy being interviewed. He was visibly shaken. Said he had been playing and coaching for 55 years. Never saw anything like this. I’m pretty sure there have been hundreds if not thousands of hits just like this.

I don’t know. But the fact is that everyone in the NFL was coerced to be jabbed by a supposed vaccine that does not even protect him from the virus. The fact is, as of now, my friends, family and anyone else I personally know that have been vaxxed have been getting Covid MORE!! than the same bunch that have not been vaxxed. And that’s a fact. Anecdotal I know......but a fact.
Like ANY drug or vaccine, it affects each person differently. And, in some rare instances, can cause severe effects to some.
Always been that way.
