I’m sure if the worst happens, they want to make sure the family is first to know, before it becomes public.

I didn’t know it but I had Afib when I got the vaccine - and the booster!

When....or, from?

How did you find out? Before, or, after your booster?

Before I retired, I worked with a lady whose heart would start beating irregularly for no apparent reason. She would have to take off the rest of the day and go to her doctor. I’m not sure what the doctor did for her, but when she returned to work she was fine- til the next time.
I hope the player survives.

I wondered that too. Such a horrible situation. The young man had a blow to the chest, stood up and fell over backwards. One of the saddest things I have ever seen.

Exactly.

Here’s a twitter thread with doctors speculating on the multiple possibilities, including an aneurysm:

https://twitter.com/OMRXRP/status/1610097128390656001

The responsible ones say it is too early to draw a conclusion from what was seen (better than gaseous response of one on this thread), but to me the most interesting one suggests that the continuation of a pulse may mean that it was a pulmonary embolism (which could back the jab speculators).

I like all those practicing medicine without a license. Sorry. Truth hurts those rooting for death when it is quite clear what happened. Educate yourself and have an independent thought.

“commotio cordis” was mentioned on another thread. It fits this situation well - unfortunately.

IIRC that was the diagnosis of a college football player in our area a couple decades ago, who passed in similar circumstances. It’s even likely I believe in Robert S. Johnson’s account in “Thunderbolt!” about an incident (though non-fatal) in college boxing.

I felt a little weak, but didn’t want to see a doctor.

Lived with it for a while, then after I got the shot and booster figured I should see someone.

Got a cardioversion then and Eliquis. a much better now.

Thanks for asking!

I absolutely think that is possible. The almighty dollar is most important to the NFL. I also think that NFL is quite tenuous so they have a nightmare on their hands if this is a death. Usually if there were a good outcome you would see immediately someone in a pressed white coat extolling the virtues of the hospital. The fact we haven’t heard much is concerning. As others have pointed out they may be notifying family first. This is pretty cut and dry as to the treatment. If alice, induce hypothermia. Deep sedation and wait a couple days to see what happens.

I think your observations are quite spot on

Was it continuation, or resumption when he was defribbed?

That thread got shut down because of “speculation”.

Glad there’s no speculation in this thread....LOL.

I don’t know and I’m no medical professional.

Update 7:39pm

This is being called “unprecedented” on ESPN. Hamlin has been intubated and currently listed in critical condition.

One of my nurse friends wrote, “How often has a young healthy football player that didn’t take that hard of a hit had a heart attack or stroke.”

CPR was administered for 9 minutes. Normal is 3 to 5 minutes. After 10 minutes you’re basically dead.

Unfortunately, what this means is that it highly likely he will be brain dead.

According to Dr. Peter McCullough, the injury that Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin sustained is known as commotio cordis (a phenomenon in which a sudden blunt impact to the chest causes sudden death in the absence of cardiac damage).

The time delay from the hit until he collapsed is expected in commotio cordis.

Peter believes that the ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation could have been set up by the vaccine if he took it.

Hamlin was shocked back to rhythm. He now has anoxic encephalopathy. He’s in critical condition at the hospital.

Summary
Hamlin’s injury was not caused by the vaccine, but if he was vaccinated, it may have contributed to the severity of his injury.

Thankfully, I just drove in daylight. Loved to do circles on Lake Michigan.

Many years ago, not powerful, but my girlfriend loved it!

You know nothing about me; yet you draw conclusions that I am rooting for a young man’s death.

Again, you are a disgrace; not only to the medical profession, but to any sense of humanity.

Quite similar to the way you are drawing conclusions to this young man’s condition with no first-hand evidence whatsoever.

You are the worst kind of person; and I am going to request your suspension from this site, based upon the abuse you are inflicting to people on this board.
